Re: New Animated Comedy Series - Thoughts/Opinions Wanted
I'm not sure my advice on animation is worth all that much other than being another opinion via my impression of you're overall work. I was prepared to hate it after reading your original post about the language etc..since stories of that description I find not too amusing, but I have to admit, I la...

Re: 9.5 aaarrrgh!
Another 9.5 Aaargh. In the color picker there are times when I need to match a color from photoshop. In photoshop I'll go to the color picker and copy the color code, then (in Debut 6 at least) I go to the color picker and hit paste, and it works like a charm, except it doesn't in the 9 versions, th...

Re: Health check
Those were really great, nicely done. I love working with jpegs etc as backgrounds, the ones you used just worked perfectly. Never enjoyed a public service announcement before

Re: New improved Head Turn Technique!
This may be totally off the mark, but instead of downloading the script for the .dup layer function(and since I'm still working on experimenting with all this and haven't concluded, so I can't answer this myself yet) if you "completely animated first" the layer that you want to duplicate a...

Wow,
Grendel Grendel Grendel,

Re: software ad
Thanks for the insights. I think it's time for me to pony up and get Pro for the 3D, I was just a little hesitant after having some trouble with glitches in Debut 9 (even with the 9.1 patch download). So I've been using debut 6. But I guess it's time to get with the program and move up to pro for wh...

Re: software ad
Well, One question I have is, near the beginning, when he's talking about Video testimonials, the "television" screen goes from facing forward to skewing back on an angle, with all the animation inside the "television" skewing as well. I would love to know how to do that. I'm wor...

Re: My new creation! "The rain dance"
Just A thought, I was wondering if you were drawing your artwork directly into AS ( I find doing it this way a little awkward for myself since I hate drawing with a mouse). I often use just a pencil and paper, make a mess with erasing etc... until I get the right look, then it gets scanned into the ...

Re: My new creation! "The rain dance"
I thought it showed a lot of effort and thought, using a lot of tools that AS provides. I got a laugh out of it too. Keep at it, I'm new to animation also, but I've quickly realized that the software has a lot to offer as long as you keep at it, and are creative with what you want to make it do.

Re: "The Galactic Gecko" animation
Thanks for all the positive vibes. For some of the backgrounds I used photos that I edited in Photoshop and converted to PNG files. Others were Jpegs that I drew using my Wacom tablet with the Corel paint software that it came bundled with. They're all older versions from about 3 years ago. As for t...
