Re: Content Paradise Shutdown Disussion
I can see it being good for the Poser community, and I'm also not convinced that Renderosity is the best place for 2D Moho stuff. I understand why Smith Micro are streamlining, but I think it would be a shame to lose all the files currently for sale and hope the current sellers find a new suitable ...

Re: Content Paradise Shutdown Disussion
I'm familiar with starting websites from scratch, though not creating an e-commerce environment, even made some Wordpress sites. Also, have used Weebly, which incorporates e-commerce. WooCommerce looks great! Several things to look at from the beginning would be things like: What does WooCommerce pr...

Re: Content Paradise Shutdown Disussion
What are your thoughts on a site that is much like a Moho Mall, a group of stores, so to speak, that each are selling their own content for 2D animation, each with their own checkout. I would almost feel that after many other talks that have come up, that there would have to be some quality control ...

Re: Content Paradise Shutdown Disussion
Very interesting! I agree, Renderosity does have a little too much risque type content to make it appear a professional store for what I would think that an animator looking for the right content might go to. I too have thought about creating a store, but the thought of handling the accounting with ...

Re: Content Paradise Shutdown Disussion
I've spent over 200$ buying 2D moho content at content paradise. I simpethise with what most people are saying, but I'll also say this: name one modern character on sale which uses some of Moho's most advanced features. NOT A SINGLE ONE. No face turns. No dials. No pin bones. Nothing. They're usual...

Re: Content Paradise Shutdown Disussion
I was thinking that at first, but really they are footing the work to move the content over. I look at it that even if I didn't want to make any new content, I'll still receive a check every so often for what I do have, without having to do anything. It'll also provide support and interest for those...

Re: Content Paradise Shutdown Disussion
I wrote back to Renderosity a couple of times that I was interested in porting my content to sell over, not a peep back. Just looking over the earlier announcement that Content Paradise was switching Poser content over to Renderosity, with no mention of Moho. Has anyone heard different?

Re: Content Paradise Shutdown Disussion
I don't sell much of anything these days on CP so I'm not particularly worried about it. It was a bit of fun and some beer money every now and then. Your right....that site was flooded with a lot of garbage as well as the 3D stuff so it was a wonder Moho content even sold. D.K I really don't see an...

Re: Content Paradise Shutdown Disussion
Goodbye, CP! It was fun back in the days when vendors received email alerts for every transaction! My mailbox would explode with sales receipts! Since ownership switched hands everything went downhill. Sales data that were previously available to vendors were taken away! Instant sales receipts to y...

Re: Content Paradise Shutdown Disussion
It was fun while it lasted. More like a hobby that paid for itself for me. I doubt if I'll move to Renderosity. https://www.contentparadise.com/SearchImageViewDetail?seller=Cartoons%201o1 I hope you would put your work on Renderosity. Your work is quite good and one of the few that has that profess...

Re: Help Shape the Future of Anime Studio
CrazyTalk Animator has a recent version of one that for face used with the iPhone/iPad, which would be useful for those animations that are on time constraint and want to get come facial expressions in. Mocap can be imported in CrazyTalk to the 2D models to create the movement needed. I see that as ...

Re: Content Paradise Shutdown Disussion
I had fun with the experience and the motivation to develop better products as time went. I felt that I was just starting to develop a better quality of items recently. I agree, many of the items in the store probably shouldn't have been in the store, if you're looking for quality and professionally...
