Walking rig - lock feet?
Hey all. I'm trying to have my little character walk up a set of stairs. Whenever I lock the bones for the feet upon landing on a step.. things are fine, but when I unlock them.. things go crazy! Bones start flipping around out of place etc. Here's my rig. Don't laugh! I sort of set this one up in a...

Is there a way to simply have the particle follow the direction it's traveling? that is.. every time I create a particle effect in AS, it seem that gravity / wind blows things to one side or another. I'd like a 'still wind' environment.. wherein the particle (smoke) doesn't blow off on it's own acco...

If you guys need any beta testers, I do that sort of thing.. :D Here's my little morning test. Imported .swf and corrected the hands a bit.. then e...

Basic bones setup help?
Hey there, I have a general question. Whenever I set up a character for a bones setup, currently, I place all of my drawings far apart from one another on frame 0, then do the skeleton, pulling everything together on frame 1. (to avoid the bones warping the incorrect shapes) Is there another method ...

Depth of field in AS6?
I've just purchased AS6, and I'm loving it! I never knew how to do correct depth of field.. is this done just by adding blur to each layer? Does the camera pull focus? Here's my little test.. but the blurryness seems to pop, especially in the background hill layer.. (the dark outline) This was done ...

Just purchased AS 6, and it was very well worth the upgrade! (loop bug aside)

Seriously! If anything, this type of flash support would bring *gasp!* a HUGE community of orphaned Flash users who are unhappy with the direction that Adobe has taken..! I realize we have a whole group of 'flash haters' here, but perhaps you need some perspective from someone who has been a profess...

Hello all
Hello from a long time lurker, self taught AS user! (Well thanks to a few great tutorials here and there..) I really think that the number one feature that Anime Studio needs, is a version of "symbols", and compatibility with the flash file format on export. That is, Anime Studio creates ....
