Re: Can you Create a .5 frames per second with a switch laye
I was wondering if it is possible to use switch layers faster than the one second timeline rate? Say a half a second. I know I can increase the frame rate to 30 frames a second, but that's not what I mean. Please advise. Maybe you should tell us what visual effect you are trying to achieve? A faked...

The question here is to ask whether the original poster wants to do hand animation, if so, then Toonboom is the clear choice. If he is looking to produce tons of quality animation on his own, with the best quality possible in the least amount of time, then ASP is, IMHO, the way to go. Well, since h...

It has much more features then TBAP! If it was TBAP unlocked I would not be so interested in it! :) http://beta.toonboom.com/professionals/harmony The new bone and curve deformer looks sweet too. Plus it has a new fx set and sdk for developers, saw a demonstration, very impressive! Ah, they must be...

TV Paint is the best for FBF, bar none. I love it. It's just a shame traditional animation takes soooo long to do, or I'd do everything in TV Paint. :) One thing though, when I was learning it, the buttons with just letters on got very confusing, but since you don't need most of them when you're sta...

One piece of software I would like to have a look at is the next release of harmony standalone, which should sale around 3500 USD but seems like a very powerful piece of software, but again, no point animation in it. They're charging $3500 for Harmony Standalone?!?!? But it's just an unlocked Anima...

Re: As Pro 8 vs Toon Boom AP 2
for this summer I will divert with cartoon animation in South Park's style. Which software is more indicate for me? AS Pro 8 or Toon Boom AP 2? Okay, I haven't used ASP 8 yet, but for South Park type animation, Toon Boom AP 2 is too cumbersome - it's just not designed for that sort of thing. I did ...

ASP 8 demo without credit card?
Hi all, I'm Mike, this is my first post and I hope I'm not making a fool of myself! But I can't find a link to download a demo of Anime Studio 8 PRO version. I found a link to the Debut version (but that needed a credit card - ). Am I blind or stupid or do I have to say a magic word or somet...
