Re: Touch scroll for timeline

If I understand the functionality you're describing correctly, you can also hold down the middle mouse button and drag around the timeline (similar to how you can navigate around the workspace). My Wacom doesn't have touch functionality, so, I'm not familiar with how it interacts with the timeline,...

Re: Moho 13 vs 12.5, preview quality loss?

Hello, well, some time has gone by... and today I opened up Moho 13.5. on a Mac... and I had to realize that my vectors are still shown in a poor quality. Has there been a resolution by now? Or has one to work now in this 'jagged view'-state? Best! Hi. No, the latest version has actually solved the...

Touch scroll for timeline

I see I can use touch from my trackpad or Wacom to move around on the stage. Fingers can zoom, pan, even rotate. Nice, but I'd really like to scroll the timeline left and right as well. As far as I can tell, the only way to fast forward or rewind the timeline is to take your pen or mouse to one side...

Change position of bones and layers, even post-animation?

After a long pause I’m using Moho again and I’m finding it as good as always but also some rust has set in… so I'm facing a certain degree of re-learning. One thing I have never really grasped about the rigging process is how, if even possible, to change the position of bones and their relative laye...

Re: Is relative keyframing of bones possible?

Can the same editing of multiple keyframes that one can do with Layer properties be also done with bones? I just tired to rotate a characters' neck bone simultaneously in two different keyframes by selecting the bone rotation keyframe on the timeline and rotating it on one keyframe while having 'Re...

Re: drawing features: will they be back (and really work?)

Hi Chucky, yes as I mentioned to Greenlaw I can (nay: could) see the Bitmap feature being useful. But in my case (I still don't know how extended the problem was) 13.0 was unusable due to problems with Mac's GPU's-something. It was so bad that if you were animating a character at medium size you cou...

Re: drawing features: will they be back (and really work?)

Hi @greenlaw, thank you for mapping out the situation so clearly! Yes, I remember paint and draw in 13.0 to be puzzling: it looked like it could be useful but - as you noted - it also didn't look complete. It was neither nor... I figured it could have been a help on a number of small tasks. It maybe...

drawing features: will they be back (and really work?)

Will the drawing features we got back in 2019, with Moho 13, be reintroduced in future releases? I never used 13 because there were serious visualisation problems on Macs (or at least on my Mac) owing to some GPU business. So I paid for an upgrade which was unusable, and then 13.5 did away with the ...

Re: Big Sur users: How to request a Moho 12 license

Hi Victor, very happy to see the original team back! I have Moho 13 (I downloaded 13.5 but cant' install because I haven't upgraded to Bug Sur yet). Though I bought 13, I never used it (I still had 12.5 luckily, on OS Mojave) because of 13's serious visualisation problems on Macs. If Moho 13.5 on Bi...

Re: Moho 13 vs 12.5, preview quality loss?

My problem with v. 13 is much more basic, so to speak. On 13 I don't ever get 'round to rendering, because of how coarse and rough the simplest of strokes looks (as in the examples at the top of this topic). All I know is that MOHO 12.5 still works fine. Images are crips at any zoom value, and rende...

Re: Moho 13 vs 12.5, preview quality loss?

Really sorry to hear that. Now I'm hoping for the renewed ownership (glad to hear it!) to fix both the OS preview problem and the new (much more dramatic) Big Sur problem. ... Just to say that owing to this, MOHO13 is a brick, I paid it but never used it. I'm now wondering whether Big Sur will chang...

Re: Moho 13 vs 12.5, preview quality loss?

Over a year after my first post on this subject, unfortunately nothing has changed. I guess the OpenGL thing is still unresolved.
Just to say that owing to this, MOHO13 is a brick, I paid it but never used it. I'm now wondering whether Big Sur will change anything.

Can't erase shape keyframes on frame 0 (solved!)

Let's see if I can explain the problem I've just bumped into. I'm designing a character. He hasn't been rigged yet, it's just plain graphics and layers. I've been playing around just doing some point-animation to test whether certain facial expressions will work once I'll get 'round to rigging. Toda...

Yes, in fact I followed your solution. Simpler, and keeps stuff organised. Thanks :)

Re: Smartbone dials and groups

If the group is bound to a bone, that will stop smart bones from being able to reach sublayers. You'll want to release that group layer and do any binding to each of the sublayers individually. Thank you, I'll try that! I was actually just experimenting another solution which would be to convert th...
