Re: Text to Speech
The samples at the website are surprisingly better than I was expecting. I don't think AI voices are a substitute for good old fashioned human voice acting, but I can see this being fine for informational videos or web-commercials on a budget. Just for fun, I want play around with the trial today. T...

Re: Combining two or more projects
(Note: It's been years since I last used version 11, so I'm assuming this part hasn't changed too much...) Alternatively, you should be able to just copy and paste what you want from one project to another. Just have both projects open, drop all the layers you want to copy into a Group layer, then u...

Nice work, Daxel! I think I understand what you did, and this layout seems clever.

Re: pan/translate a zoomed preview
Yeah, so many ways to do the same thing. The trick is knowing when to use which one.

Re: Bezier handles in pro 13
I think in general , the information in the manual is still valid, but you'll want to look at YouTube videos for coverage of more recent features. FYI, I'm finishing up some Moho basics walkthrough videos, which introduces new users to the UI and workflow. Just be advised that the videos feature Moh...

Re: Bezier handles in pro 13
Thanks again. When I'm done with all the tutorials I'll probably purchase the new version. Do they allow you to keep 12.5 and 13 on the same computer... Sure. ATM I only have Moho 12.4 on my laptop but I used to keep every version on it, mainly for testing purposes. On my desktop, I may still have ...

Re: Bezier handles in pro 13
That's really strange. The ASP 11 installation shouldn't have an impact on Moho 13, and the two versions should be able to co-exist on the same computer. Maybe they were sharing the same Content folder and there was a possible script conflict? Just a thought. Anyway, glad to hear you got it worked o...

Re: pan/translate a zoomed preview
If you're in the development stage, you might consider just dropping your entire character in a Group. Then you can position and scale this group as needed without affecting the relative scale and position of the contents of that group. To reset, select the group and click the Reset buttons for Tran...

Click on the green dot in the channel you wish to mute. When the dot is red, the keyframes in that channel are ignored. To unmute the channel, click on the red dot and it will become green again.
If you don't see a dot, it's because you need to create a keyframe first.

Re: Bezier handles in pro 13
BTW, since Moho 13.0 is a bit buggy (to say the least,) you might consider Lost Marble's offer to downgrade to Moho 12.5 for Mac until Moho 13.5 comes out. There's more info about this offer elsewhere in this forum, or get in touch with Victor about it. Most users here will agree that Moho 12.4-5 is...

Re: Bezier handles in pro 13
I had 11 previously but in no longer works with the most current version of Catalina OS on my iMac... Or is this because the Smith-Micro server is shut down? If that's the case, you need to download the 'Final' installer so you can run it without the server dependency. The 'Final' installer is avai...

Re: Bezier handles in pro 13
Not sure that makes sense unless maybe you're running in Debut mode? (Edit: I see Synthsin75 beat me to that idea. :)) Normally, the buttons should appear when the tool is selected. Can you post a screen cap of what you're seeing? I may still have Moho 13 on my other computer. Will check that later.

Re: pan/translate a zoomed preview
I just saw your examples. Unlike Preview Animation, Ctrl-R does not render what's visible in the Workspace, it renders what the camera is seeing. If you're using Ctrl-R, you need to frame the image using the Track Camera tool so the character's head fills the blue box in the viewport. With the tool ...

Re: pan/translate a zoomed preview
BTW, be aware that Ctrl-R doesn't always render exactly the same result as the normal final quality renderer, so if it's really critical that you see exact results, you may want to do a single frame render with Moho Exporter or Export Animation. Most of the time, Ctrl-R is pretty close though.

Re: pan/translate a zoomed preview
Oh, I see. In a Ctrl-R render, I'm able to zoom with the mouse wheel and pan with the right mouse button. Clicking Restore Defaults will reset the view. If that's not working, you can access the image directly by clicking Render Cache and open the image with your preferred image viewer. (I use XnVie...
