Re: Mirror and instance script or command

Okay yes it was not working for some reason in 13.5.1. I must have uploaded the wrong version or changed the file names without changing one of the variables. The current version download is working now. I downloaded and installed it again from scratch and it is working. https://animestudioscripting...

Re: Mirror and instance script or command

it could be how or where you installed it. the whole thing unzipped into the tools folder of scripts/tools in custom content folder. i didn’t test with 13.51 but should work. the “no label” sounds like a missing icon or image from the zip. in addition it only works on a vector layer with points. i w...

Re: Mirror and instance script or command

I tested this in a copy of v11 for mac I was able to get running. I hope it will work for you. I didn't do much to it, just made changes based on naming of the scripts and updating the instructions. I didn't modify it to work with v13.5 but crazy enough it actually DOES WORK PERFECTLY in 13.5. There...

Re: Holy COW OMG! Lost Marble is back with Moho???

You still can. A .moho file is now just an archive (that you can open with 7zip, etc.) that contains the thumbnail jpg and plain text JSON file. The JSON file has all the whitespace removed, so it helps to beautify it with Python to make it readable. It's organized a bit different from the old form...

Oh lord I was so sad when Mike changed the file format. Being able to edit Moho files in a plain text editor was FANTASTIC.

Re: Holy COW OMG! Lost Marble is back with Moho???

Thanks guys! It is great to be back. I've already dove head first into fixing up old scripts that have gotten lost along the way side. So many changes, so many new features to learn. I was discouraged for a while when Lostmarble didn't have "control" of Moho so I was sad and didn't do that...

Re: change parameters for multiple bones

Oh wow, okay must look at that. So the bone dialog just sets everything to be updated and instead you could simply evaluate ONLY things THAT CHANGED. Cool beans, yes will look at that next chance I get. p.s. I am just now getting the hang of the changes in the scripting interface since the last time...

Re: change parameters for multiple bones

Oh wow, yes I have dreamed of a way to do this but for the life of me couldn't figure out how to implement this. The logic hurts my head. How would the tool "know" which parameter to change on which bone if they are all different? An example: You select 10 bones. They all have different an...

Re: Windows Script writing application?

Dangit. Jumped to wrong conclusion. The below statement is not correct. It displays "arrows" that look functional but aren't. Still have to copy and paste by hand. Oh well. The search continues. I may have to use Winmerge after all :) Sublime wins! Hahaha! Found the correct plugin for wha...

Re: Windows Script writing application?

Thanks guys. I checked them both out. Notepad2 I can see the desire for simple but I must have code folding, especially when scripting for Moho, or the occasional html editing I do now. It's odd, code folding is so standard but Notepad2 specifically says they don't have and probably won't. Oh well. ...

Windows Script writing application?

For many MANY MANY years I've been using a program ONLY available on mac called BBEdit to do all of my text editing, script writing, minimal programming etc. I loved that program. It was fantastic and expandable, scriptable etc. It had the ability to create projects that kept everything organized et...

Re: Mirror and instance script or command

That script was created quite some time ago. Once I track it down on my backups I will know which version I created it for. It should work in v11. Fingers crossed.

Re: Mirror and instance script or command

Wow! Blast from MY past. :D I will track down that script and see if I can get it working and uploaded for 13.5. I did like it when I used it but it was a bit "wonky". It needs some tweaking. I feel bad because there are a bunch of my scripts that have "poofed" into the ether of ...

Re: Moho slows down too much

If you are looking for a sketchy look you should check out the sketchy effects for vectors in the layer settings. Lots of options. I've used it many times The text on this is just regular text in Moho with changes to the vector settings to create multiple strokes and movement without adding a bazill...
