Re: unsolicited emails claiming to be this forum

Also, you could try this: Go to the User Control Panel (near the top left of the forum page), and then click Board Preferences. Set "Users can contact me by email" to No. This may not stop the emails if someone already has your email address, but it can't hurt.

Re: unsolicited emails claiming to be this forum

Hi, I manage the forum. Could you forward me one of these emails so that I can take a look? I don't think the forum is sending this to you, but maybe someone got your email address from the forum. Anyway, if you could send it to me (with all the headers intact) maybe I can figure something out. Mike...

Re: Can't edit bezier keyframes in the motion graph

The graph can show multiple channels at the same time, but you can only edit one at a time. To select one for editing, you need to double-click the channel icon - then you should be able to see the keyframes and bezier handles.

Re: Moho 12.2 not working latest Mac OS Sierra 10.12.4

This is certainly disturbing, but I don't know that it's a general problem with 10.12.4. I just updated my Mac last night to 10.12.4, and Moho is running fine. Do you still have an older version of Moho? Does that run as expected? It may only affect a fresh installation, but I'm afraid to try that m...

Re: Line Width Tool, Remember When...

I'll admit that I kind of liked the snap to 0 myself. That's the most common type of width editing I would do - taper the ends down to zero. But I also realize that it's probably kind of unexpected if you're new to Moho or this tool. The current behavior is probably better for more general usage, bu...

Re: Line Width Tool, Remember When...

Yes, you remember right. I think we got requests to not do that, so it was removed. Sorry, there's no modifier key to bring it back. However, you ask if it's scriptable - all the tools are Lua scripts. You can go in and modify them, so you could add your own modifier key to bring back that old behav...

I missed this when it was originally posted, but wow! This is a really cool idea! Thanks for sharing the script, Stan!

Re: Is there a script that does this?

I don't know of a script to do exactly what you want, but there may be one that's close. If you're willing to play around with Lua you may be able to get it to do what you want. Try this: In a layer draw a bunch of strokes with the freehand tool (make sure Auto-strokes is on). Choose Edit->Select Al...

Re: Is Moho 12 "multicore aware"?

That's right. Moho is going to max out at 4 cores when rendering. 8 won't help Moho directly, but it may keep your computer more responsive while Moho is rendering. For example, if you start Moho rendering and switch over to Photoshop or something to do some other work.

Re: Display issues with GPU Acceleration on INTEL HD 3000

Here's a trick to get around this problem: If a vector layer has no point animation, and is not being bent by bones, then Moho tries to "cache" the vector layer as an image. Then that image is drawn by the GPU. Drawing a single image is much faster for a graphics card than lots of complex ...

Hi Myles! You're one of the original users, back from the days before Moho was Anime Studio before it was Moho! Good to hear from you, and I hope you're doing well!

That's excellent - thanks for sharing it! I like you combined Moho features in a way that gives it your own style. I wouldn't have guessed this was Moho at all, and I mean that as a compliment!

Re: Two Voice Animation

If you want to use Moho's built-in lipsync features, then yes, you should keep the separate voices as separate audio tracks. Otherwise, if you're doing lipsync by hand or using some other method it may be OK to have the voices as a single audio track.

Re: Anime Studio Support

Seems funny that I don't know this for sure, but I think tech support stopped doing phone support quite a while ago. Keeping up with phones is very difficult or expensive to keep up a large support staff. There is still a tech support staff, but I think you have to contact them via an online form. h...

Re: My future with Moho

And what about Content Paradise? Is the sun going down on CP? :( I've never really been involved in Content Paradise, so I don't know about future plans. But my understanding is that Smith Micro wants to continue with the graphics products, and content has been an important part of that. I haven't ...
