Re: A Cat Called Jam (behind the scenes)
Hey Alanthebox, I think the jam characters body is HD size and every other character is built off him. So the grey cat and little smaller, but the hound character is 3 Hd tall-ish. So the textures we have should be ok for most, if not all our cameras. What we have done in the past is made 2 sets of ...

A Cat Called Jam (behind the scenes)
Hi all so with Moho13 release, some of us beta users can actually show what we have been working on for the past few months, playing around with the new features, particularly the Bitmap Drawing Feature. I, myself ended up working on a short film and I am going to update to this thread new material ...

Re: Timelag while animating
hey Designspaceman we have experienced that, but out rigs can be very complex, so i guess its not only the number of models but how complex they are and if you are running any layer scripts inside them. We usually store the views off in a separate file and only bring in the views you need into a sce...

Re: Maintaining facial expression a through head turn
oh I should add something that we have found usefully, on the body turn, because the limbs are not moving, we build in guide dots for the shoulder and hip placements, just little vector circles that are set to only appear in moho (do not render) and they follow the smart action of the turn. it gives...

Re: Maintaining facial expression a through head turn
hey Ahayut I would totally agree with what everyone has said before on the different rigs for different body views. it is so much easier to handle and control. and just to add a bit of context to the Puffin Rock models. The Oona rig I showed, I think this was at the end of season 2 and was a maybe t...

Re: Export to PSD with Layers
there is also an export to psd in the Export Animation - Image sequence - PSD and you can just set the length to 1 frame long is that is all you needed
it wont give you a fully layered psd, but will layer all the top level folders as a layer in the psd

Seeking Model build and rigger for paid work
Hi
We are working on a short film and we are looking for an additional build and rigger to take some of the overflow model work we have available. If you are interested in here more please email acatcalledjam@amanandink.com with some samples of your rigging.
thanks
