Re: Everybody is doing headturns so.....
I should clarify, sometimes I'm either so tired (I usually work on this stuff after work) or excited to post it I just throw a post up quick and don't get all the info down. This was done with a switch layer, I had tried to set up the mouth to use smart bones, but wasn't having any luck with it, and...

Everybody is doing headturns so.....
Still very much an amateur at this. I noticed some problems after I had rendered this out(floating right ear grrr) thought I fixed it, plus the whites of the eyes kind of bleed out. And, need to work on my profiles for this guy. Learned a lot doing this one, (hopefully anyway). I tried to use smart ...

Re: Lawnmower70 11 second club
Thanks guys! The last word is Soiled, probably not the best font to use for that, but wanted the whole poster to look dirty, and I guess it does that ok.

Re: Leesy the fixer
Yeah, I didn't want to rush it, but want to move on to other projects, and wanted to finish this one. So, when I had the problem lining up the particles at the end, I just let it go. It's all for practice for me at this point, lots learned on this one. And, thank you for the compliment, hopefully on...

Leesy the fixer
OK, so I decided to ignore the problems I was having with gradients, and just go ahead with my limited schedule. Mostly I didnt want to rush this, but ended up probably doing just that. I ended up leaving out backgrounds because I was just interested in doing the character animation in this project....

Re: Leesy Run Cycle.
Arrg....I tried the shaded fill effect, just don't like it. Think I have to make the gradient work to be happy so going to mess with it some more.

Re: Leesy Run Cycle.
I actually purposly spread out the keyframes to make it look slow motion.....I thought it would be easier to get it right this way. I tightened them up in the project and it looks like a real run and not chariots of fire now.

Re: Leesy Run Cycle.
I actually have it inside a switch layer with a straight on view as the other switch, and thats the master layer. And the switches are 2 bone layers. Other than that it's pretty standard setup, with a skeleton, and each piece (right arm, left arm, body, waist, etc...) all in separate layers.

Re: Leesy Run Cycle.
Thank you for the response. I tried moving the gradients but it seems to have no effect. Its almost as if there is a shape under the layers that is showing up for some reason....but there is none. This character has been reworked a few times though so hopefully I didnt bug it out.
