Thanks Kalamonkey. I'm trying to build a cast before the end of the month so I can do a vdeo longer than a few seconds. What other software did you use for your videos? @reneuend... are you using AS to make the games on your website? @Kedric... your pikaparodies are wild. I like the spinning and zoo...

I can't find the 7feet HowManyPoints script but the Lost Layer Tool has a point and shape counter included and does TONS more than just count.

or a stroke effect in ASP5 that isn't in 7. All stroke effects works on AS7, if you open an old file you can even edit their parameters. Wow, you're right. I assumed that since they weren't listed there they wouldn't work. The name doesn't appear in the styles pallette but I can definitely edit it....

Awesome Parker. You make me feel better about choosing this program. You also make me feel bad cause I suck. OK. That's it. I'm getting offline and watching more tutorials.

Was this all done in AS? Good job Sbtamu. I agree with Selgin about the red. Also, can you fade in the animated character so there isn't this sudden bold black line where there was a dark grey one? This makes me want to experiment with compositing now.

@hothead
Outputting good quality in AS took me a minute to understand. Even now I still get some dark images or I might get artifacts like halos from my soft edge shapes but that's my ignorance not AS. There is definitely a learning curve. Keep at it. Don't be so hot headed... I mean, impatient. :)

I'm not really sure what people mean by the timing. In that last video you set it up as if she heard something and then grabbed the arrow quickly. That's great storytelling in a couple of seconds. Great work lwaxana!

Good Job! I like the pastel colors and the slight noise effect on the lines. I don't think AS can do "subtle" noisy vectors. Did you really do all the text in photoshop then import into AS? That does seem like the long way since you have some words animated individually. But the outcome is...

Your BGs look promising, good work, it really shows you have been watching the tutorials :) . For me the best one was the Midnight on Alien Moon, did you create your own brush to create those leaves? they came out pretty well. Also i think those planets stand out too much, you could reduce the alph...

Re: Great job!

Vagabond, Very impressed at your improvement in the animation from the first animation to the one you just made!! Practice really does make perfect! I would say to get even better just keep doing what you're doing. Watch tutorials, visit here and see what other people are doing for techniques and t...

Character animation

I think I'm in love with a nigerian actress. I first animated her on 3/05/10 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UqzzKHJf0Ls and I think I did a decent job. I just finished another animation of her today 1/05/11 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zZpqMLdSlTU I think I'm getting a little better but would like...

Got to have a good chair!! It's worth a couple of hundred to get a good chair, because of good health. protect your back and protect your legs by allowing circulation of blood. the end of the seats should slope down as to not cut off the circulation of legs and the back should have a nice lumbar su...
