Longtime lurker, Parttime animator, fulltime software developer(not animation software). Only registered to give my opinion...so hear it is ;) First off.. I quite like AS7 pro so dont think I'm anti AS.. I wont be upgrading just now but may well do so in future for the following reasons; * General ...

Re: Lowrestv.com Status and future
I want to do the right thing. I also would like to start creating tutorials again but with simpler expectations. I plan to make the tutorials free after this whole thing has been resolved with current members. -vern Hey Vern, Why don't you make the tutorials free as a gesture of good will. Let us k...

Mike, It doesn't make sense that we can't alter or create our own bodies for it. What is the use of it if you can't be original? Please explain the logic behind this decision. Will this be changing soon on version 8? Without this, there is no sense in paying for an upgrade since we still have to rig...

Unfortunately it isn't possible to customize the bodies, that's something I wanted to do as well. All you can do is change the bodies by hand after a character has been created. Hi Tori, Thanks for asking for our opinions. I will always upgrade without fail as I can see the potential in this software to be the greatest 2D animation software around. Also, I have become completely addicted to the level of customization that is possible with scripting. However, I too agree wi...

Hi Tori, I have upgraded but mainly to support development and, hopefully, keep Anime Studio a viable product for Smith Micro. Unfortunately I don't feel that those of us that do upgrade year after year are rewarded for our loyalty. The new features were, for me, not very exciting at all and had it...

Hey digitalartguru, Go to his youtube channel at http://www.youtube.com/cartoonlearning Those videos are examples of the tutorials he will teach you. I personally would not pay to use his course, but I could see how it might advantage someone very new to the software. Anyway, take a look. Thanks fo...

My main reason to wait is the high cost of upgrading. As I mentioned on an earlier post elsewhere for $59 or $69 for these 5 days it would have been a no brainer to upgrade as the new tools do seem very good from what I have seen. However for only $29 reduction special its not really an impulse buy...

Recording bone motion automatically?
Hello folks,
It would be nice to be able to grab a bone with the "manipulate bone" tool in AS, click a "record" type of button, and have AS record all my bone movements ( adding keyframes ) on the screen until I hit a stop button. Is there a way to do this?

I've looked at it a couple of times and I'm bothered by his claims that he's not a salesman as part of his high pressure (if low key) pitch. The first time I went there I decided to take a chance anyway come payday but when I clicked out of the screen it wouldn't let me close it. That made me decid...
