Re: Updated WhiteLand Character Rig

wondering if you wanted the eyes to get that big in the last second or two of the sample animation, just looked a little out of place than your usual. Well, since LY mentioned it... I noticed that too. Of course stretching out facial actions more extreme than you'd usually use is probably a good id...

Re: Zombie Story

This may be a non-issue after seeing some more finished looking art work, but to me the silhouette and early shots of the plow guys already look kind of zombie-ish. In part I think it's the pose of the silhouette, not being able to see details of the figures, and then the fact that the plow puller l...

Re: Cute Christmas/Hanukkah holiday animation!

The only thing I found distracting was the singing. There was zero happiness in those voices. It sounded kind of creepy how little inflection there was in the singing I didn't do the singing. my friends did. Glad you liked the animation, though. Wow, nice job throwing the singing friends under the ...

Re: Happy horse rip-off frenzy background

Background looks great and I love the concept and script. :)

I only recall ever seeing a little bit of QD in my lifetime and I can't place when or where, but this was a nice segment for a refresher course.

Re: Zombie Story

Thought I'd experiment with a Back 3/4 walk cycle. Here's a rough rig file that maybe someone else could adjust to fit their needs. https://www.dropbox.com/s/trb3nnpz6l7zpjr/BucketGirl.anme?dl=0 - Headless basic rig. - 3/4 Back View - Walk cycle in Main Timeline. - No bucket yet. c5BhDz1Yl5U The goa...

Re: Rigging a worm in AS10

Very cool! Nice work. Don't know if I was using 10 yet when I was working on this... 1-UD46ARiX8 SmeDFkhC7WI But that looks a lot cleaner and cuter than whatever the heck I had going on... 7vtn7UCYgZk I think I had cycled smart bones up top that progressively cycled the scaling of the bones m...

Re: Zombie Story

Thanks Iwaxana, I came to that same conclusion; AFTER I had already put most of the work into it. I had not animated in AnimeStudio in several years and got caught up in the excitement of the new features; particularly the ability to do head turns. I am definitely guilty of allowing the new shiny t...

Re: Anyone interested in teaming up?

Ok, took a little time and caught up. And I guess the thread is not quite as cluttered toward the end as everything seems focused on Nick's concept. I see that things are progressing at least in a positive direction, so I won't harp on it with my opinions of the early draft. I am glad to see people ...

Re: Anyone interested in teaming up?

I saw that the steveryan "Zombie Story" pulled over onto it's own thread. I was curious if the NickMichaels "Vermonters" development has considered a side as well, though I guess it's effectively taken over this one now. I'd be interested in catching up and offering some thoughts...

Re: Full Body Turn Experiment

Looking very good. Will be interested to take a closer look at the set up after work. Do you have a horizontal flip on the head when it is facing away? Just my guess to simplify, but the hairstyle flips back the other way at the start of the next loop. Also, not that well versed in scripts, what doe...

Re: Work in progress

Looking nicer and cleaner with the simplicity of the highlights. The other good news is that it's starting to make a little more sense to me. (but since it's not really a topic I know much about, we can't be sure if it's because your explanation and approaches are getting clearer or if it's because ...

So, the head of Pens to Lens project,Thomas Nicol was awarded an advocate ACE award for support of local Arts, Culture & Education. They put out a little clip of award winners talking about their contributions and several clips of "The Brain Storm" are featured. :D (Now I reall...

Re: Mr donut, Alien donuts Tv spot

Excellent work. Very impressed with composition and style merging. I donut know what they are saying, ( ) but I have watched it about 20 times and love how well this uses relatively straightforward animation with great scene direction and art design for something quite dynamic. Looks great!
