Re: Scaling bones
Its fixed. I think it was just a glitch because when I opened the file after rebooting all is fine now. I also realized that my first toon I drew to learn AS is way too complicated and drawn poorly(too many vertices and point colors). I have to keep it simple to learn all the tools in AS to progress...

Scaling bones
Hi all,
When I scale a bone to give it perspective depth, the bone seems to bounce or stagger even though its on a simple path to the next key. Is this normal or how do I stop this?

Yes you are right. I was doing it wrong previously. Group ordering works perfectly for front to back animation sequences. I even found the markers on the timeline which I didnt before.

It doesnt. I had to take all the animated layers out of their sub-folders and nest them under 1 directory underneath the bones layer. It works now, but organization of all those layer is messy.

I know you can animate layers from front to back if they are in the same group layer, but what about separate individua...

Layer ordering

What I'm trying to do is make the hand visible in front of the toon and then be hidden after the arm swing follows back behind him. The leg also. Its a straight-on front v...
