Reference layer link broken
I created an eyeball and made a second eyeball as a reference layer, so that they move together. Then I created a bone dial for left-right movement (using only the source eyeball when creating the bone dial animation). Works great. When I went to make another bone dial for up and down movement, I di...

When to use which binding
I'm trying to get better at rigging, and am of course learning about the different kinds of bone binding. I understand how to do each and how each type of binding behaves, but I'm a little foggy on why to choose one type or another. For example, tutorials remind me frequently that flexi-binding is t...

Re: Tracing image rotated
I just took a photo of the image with my phone, imported it with DropBox, and opened it in Moho. It is a jpg. I didn't actually open Photoshop at all, but then I saw it was rotated, so I opened it in Photoshop to fix it because I couldn't rotate the tracing image, and saw it was oriented correctly a...

Tracing image rotated
When I import an image, it is often rotated, even though the original image is oriented correctly in Photoshop. This is a minor annoyance. However, for a tracing image, it is also rotated, and I can't seem to adjust it. I do appreciate that the tracing image is resized to fit on the stage, but is th...

Re: My first ever Moho video!!!
Thanks all. I ran out of time with the bone joints, I hoped no one would notice. I don't do music professionally, but I produce my own music. Glad it's being received well, I really learned a ton about animation, and not just Moho. By the way, if anyone wants a score for a project, I might be able t...

My first ever Moho video!!!
This is a Christmas gift for my wife that I made with my daughter's drawings. I bought Moho in November, have never really done any animation before other than PowerPoint, and I had a great time. Thank you everyone who helped me. @Greenlaw and @synthsin75 especially among others. Being my first atte...

Keyboard-based rescale in timeline
I saw a tutorial last week (which was done on a Mac and I'm PC) in which they selected a bunch of keyframes on the timeline and then hit some keystrokes to rescale them in and out. I can't find documentation on this feature anywhere, and I'm wondering if it's deprecated, or else Mac-only, or what. I...

Re: Stop following path
More frustration. The Rotate to Follow feature seems completely random. Clicking on and off the later causes it to rotate on its own, and the playback rotation changes depending on which OTHER layer I happen to have highlighted. Then sometimes it works fine. Then it won't again. I deleted all keyfra...

Re: Stop following path
Bumping this thread. Completely different project, same problems. 0. Make sure I'm at Frame 0 1. Create vector layer - set Origin to center of object 2. Create path layer directly above it 3. Click on object layer 4. Click Follow Path tool 5. Click path 6. Go to frame 1 7. Enter 0 percent 8. Go to f...

Keyboard shortcut inconsistency
I'm posting here before logging it as an issue officially, in case. The keyboard shortcuts are very inconsistent. About 60% of the time they work fine, but sometimes for apparently no reason I'll just get a beep instead. For example, I will be editing a vector, and will want to fill, so I hit P for ...

Import image vs image layer
What's the difference between creating an image layer and selecting the image vs. choosing "Import image" and choosing the image? Other than the fact that with the latter you can pick more than one at a time (though they strangely nest inside each other)?

Re: Can't delete keyframes sometimes
Yeah, I figured that out. There should be a "Disable everything that's going to get you in Big Trouble if you're not at frame 0" option. Actually, as I mentioned in a previous feature request, the whole idea of frame 0 and frame 1 is ridiculous. Frame 0 is NOT A FRAME, it's a set up place....

Re: Can't delete keyframes sometimes
What ---!!?? There's an 'Enable Drawing Tools Only At Frame 0' option? I could definitely use that. Hunting that down now... I'll post an example when I run across it. Happens to me a lot. I figured it wasn't a bug or anything, but something I didn't understand as to why I'm not ALLOWED to delete sa...

Can't delete keyframes sometimes
Why is it I can't delete keyframes sometimes? It seems like there's some valid reason, but I can't figure it out. Moho should tell me why nothing happens when I select some keyframes and hit Delete.
