well, there's 3 empty spaces next to your point camera tool that are waiting to be filled... how about 'dolly on target' - we could have a non rendering camera target layer... My main issue is i don't want things warping really - since this is 2D animation, i want all planes to be always perpandicu...

Hey there, I'm a little confused... maybe i'm using it wrong? I created a circle and had it move with layer translation from one side to the other... i then ran the script to point the camera, expecting the circle to effecively stay still but it sort of just turned slightly away from me in shame......

an idea: Is there a way to keep the camera equidistant to the layer? at the moment having the camera pan around a layer that moved from left to right, and setting the layer to 'face camera' results in no rotation for the layer or position translation - which is cool, but it enlarges and shrinks pre...

works great, Peteroid. Thank you very much. It's fantastic to have a new scripter on forum :D Thanks! BTW... sorry to be so much of a pain in the ass when I was learning... now that I have my 'foot in the door' I should be more relaxed... I get a bit TOO passionate about programming sometimes... he...

THERE IS A NEW VERSION (version 2) I had forgotten to take into account the Origin of the Layer. It will now Point directly at the Origin of the Layer (previously it pointed at the Layer as if Origin = (0,0) ) New download includes versions for both ASP7 and AS5 (version 2 untested by me). I don't ...

OK. I actually saw no reason that error should be happening. But I did make a change that might help. There is a new download version, but I don't have high hopes for it. If this one works, cool. If not, I have to go to bed (it is almost 2AM here). But please post the results so I can look in the mo...

OK, new one ready for downloading. I think I know the problem with the icon. Do ths with the new one: Be sure to change the name of the file 'pao_point_camera_AS5.lau' to 'pao_point_camera.lua' before putting it in 'tool'. You also MUST get rid of the old 'pao_point_camera_AS5.lua' if it is still in...

Hi Peteroid. Here are some 5.6 camera scripts. http://www.polliefillers.com.au/forum/AS5.6Luascripts.zip Cheers D.K OK, try it now (you will have to download the zip file again, but only need to replace pao_point_camera.lua in 'tool')... I don't have AS version 5 to test with, so I can't be sure. B...

Hi Peteroid. Just tried it in AS5.6 and get this Lua error: http://www.polliefillers.com.au/Luaerr.jpg Cheers D.K If those errors end up being the only problems for supporting AS5 (sorry about the way the looks), it shouldn't be too difficult. I only had ASP7 scripts as scripts to study. So I have ...
