Oh, duh, you maybe be right! Simpler is better, I say.
Thanks for sharing the extra bonus tip.

Re: MR Bake Bone Dynamics
Make a copy of the original project and open the copy in 13.5. After baking the bone dynamics in 13.5, open the original project in 14.1. Then use Import Project to import the 13.5 project, and select only the relevant item. Import lists items by top layers and groups, so pick only the one containin...

Re: MR Bake Bone Dynamics
Do you still have Moho 13.5 installed? Maybe you can open the project there, bake the dynamics, and then bring the project back into 14.1 for editing.
(It's for situations like this that I keep 12.5 and 13.5 on my computer.)

Re: MR Bake Bone Dynamics
Oh, shoot, that's too bad. It's been a while since I had to use it, but MR Bake Bone Dynamics was exactly what I needed at the time. A minute ago, I had an idea to try Copy Deep Frame Range as a workaround since the result is baked keys in the range. Unfortunately, the command ignored the Bone Dynam...

Re: Styles are driving me nuts!
Yeah, without seeing the file, it's just guessing. My first guess is to check the settings for Style that's to the shape (use the Select Style tool to load it.) For each shape, there are two slots for applying custom Styles, so make sure only the intended style is present. Also, be aware that some o...

Nice work! I like how you set up the control for the roll, and also the perspective of the cuff.

Re: Failed to parse JSON document
Glad to hear you got everything back! :D Here is a little more info about the Dropbox problem for anyone concerned about it: Using Dropbox for file transfers was fine; the corruption occurred only when working out of a Dropbox folder. But, as mentioned already, this issue is fixed in the current rel...

Ooo! That's a good one, Paul! It never occurred to me to use Graph Editor that way.

Re: Bone To Move Only On X or Y
Another tip: If you want the bone to slide in a direction other than X or Y, parent it to another bone and rotate that bone to the angle you want, then Shy it. Now the child bone will use the Shy bone's direction as its X axis. If you want it to slide along Y, just figure that into your Constraint s...

Re: Bone To Move Only On X or Y
Do you mean to constrain it in one direction for animation? Normally, you would just press and hold Shift to constrain the movement, but I'm guessing you want to set up a control for this as part of a rig. If you don't mind using two bones, you can use a Constraint for that. 1. Create two Pin bones....

Re: Lukas Sketch Panel for TVPaint
Here's a TVPaint Panel I've been creating and using over the years. We find TVPaint the best and fastest storyboard tool... Wow, that's quite a tool panel, Lukas! Thanks for sharing it. In this past week, I've been drawing storyboards for a couple of mini-shorts and experimenting with new workflows...

Re: Failed to parse JSON document
You mentioned you last worked on the file months ago, and I'm wondering, were you using an older version for Moho at the time, and were these files stored in a cloud storage service like DropBox? I believe there was a problem with an older version of Moho, where a project file could get corrupted wh...

Re: shotcut for toggle frame 0
Your detailed answer is really inspiring! I figured out that I'm still using a shortcut file created on the old Moho version... Hi Damon_lai, This sounds to me like you may have pointed Moho 14.1 to your old content folder (Moho 13.5 or older) when you launched it the first time. I highly recommend...

Re: How is this Moho 14 sample project being animated?
Yes, it's normal to hide bones that are not meant to be directly keyframed by the animator. For example, I use this technique for special offset bones and Smart Bones that drive a hidden network of other Smart Bones. Or bones animated only with physics, like in the bunny. Tip: I prefer to use Shy Bo...
