Re: Ubuntu 10.10 success

...I would be interested to hear however if someone has success with ASPro 7 and Wine but I very much doubt whether a Wine solution will have the solidness and performance I need for an animation package. ... It's ASpro7 I'm talking about. It does work very well, I'm testing it out right now for a ...

...I wonder if you are using some sort of stylus input device rylleman? ... I do, its a Toshiba T5010 tablet. I should try your solution, sounds like that's my issue. Do you loose pressure sensitivity completely or just in ASpro? If altogether I won't consider it a solution for me, I really need pr...

I too feel it's a shame linux support is discontinued for Anime Studio. Gradually I will phase out ASpro in my production pipeline for other apps that do run natively on linux, but I still have projects planned where I will use it. Aspro working on linux was actually the one tipping point that made ...

Miss Remarkable and her Career premiering

Tomorrow, 3rd of september, Miss Remarkable and her Career premieres in theaters through Sweden. It's a 30 minute animated short, done mostly in Anime Studio Pro 5 (Linux and Mac machines). Targeted at an adult audience. It has already been warmly recieved by the press with interviews and reviews in...

Hi Rylleman, what animation software do you use on Linux? Glad you asked. And sorry for being a bit off topic here. My main tools is Anime Studio Pro(v6) and Synfig Studio . then I use some other tools to different degrees; Pap and Pencil . Also relies heavily on Gimp , Ffmpeg , Avidemux , Kdenlive...

Thanks Ulrik, got the script through mail. The script does delete all keys at a given frame, through the whole scene, all layers. Some keys are however left untouched, like bone dynamics, bone lock, layer order and Switch values. It is a great help now but I'm going to see if I can change it into de...

Hej Ulrik, thank you.
I can't seem to find the script doing searches, where did you find it?
Please send it if you got it. I think you got my mail somewhere? Otherwise it's info at the url of the first link in my signature.
Will save me hours, thanks.

Delete child layer keyframes?

Is there some script to delete all keys in a rig (at a given frame)?
Be it bone keys, vector keys, switch keys. All keys. To remove a pose is a tedious work in AS when you have to go into all child layers and delete keys by hand.

It works very well on linux. Only thing different from Mac and M$-versions is video support since LM chose to make that depend on Quicktime which is only available on windows and macOS. But working with image sequences is more stable and generally to prefer anyway. GCharb, audio and sound problems a...

Does anyone know what the key-combo for reloading scripts is on linux?
If it's ctrl+alt+F5 it conflicts with bringing up a console so it doesn't work.

What bout those MohoLayer members? bool IsRenderOnly() Return value (bool): void SetRenderOnly(b) Return value: none b (bool): I think that they will respond to the "Do not render this layer" property. -G :D :D :D . Didn't think of those! My mind was set on hiding layers I didn't want to ...

Sounds easier to just use ffmpeg for the stiching;
ffmpeg -i imagesequence_%04d.png -r 29.97 -y output.avi
Could of course tweak it with codecs and stuff.
