Can Moho 12 export animations w transparent BG

Good morning all!

On occasion, I've had the need to export an animation with a transparent BG. This was possible with Anime Studio, but doesn't seem so with Moho 12. Is there a new process, or have we lost this option? I run Moho on a PC, by the way.

Thanks!

Re: Walk cycle - "mirror" and "walk in place" old settings?

I think you are referring to Mike Kelly's "Walk Assist" tool (later replaced with his "Swiss Army Bones" tool). Those features (mirror and walk in place) were never part of Anime Studio itself. I don't know if those tools work in Moho 12. You can get more info about them over at...

Walk cycle - "mirror" and "walk in place" old settings?

Hello fellow animators. I was watching Mike Kelly's old tutorial on the walk cycle (youtu.be/WT0yMJCfJbg). It is from 2013 and I see that the software interface had a button for "mirror" and a checkbox for "walk in place." I haven't noticed those options for several incarnations ...

Yeah, I get your point there. I'll try it with a bone. Thanks

Struggling with good "drag"

Hello Everyone, I'm struggling to create a good looking "drag" effect on my objects (not motion blur). Example: A character's arm gets stretched to reach out for something but the body stays in place. Then, everything catches up and it all snaps into place at the destination point. I'm not...

Re: "Position" values of X and Y

I didn't mean that I expect it to act like a 3D application. It's just that I used 3D software exclusively for several years before I tried out 2D software. It was tough to get used to at first, but I love what Moho has to offer. It is a pleasure to work with. Yeah, I get it...basically... I have to...

Re: "Position" values of X and Y

Yeah, I get it...basically... I have to admit, scale and distance are trickier in Moho than in 3D programs I've used. Thank you! just an addition to what's been said... the +1/-1 top bottom are as with default camera z position /zoom... change the zoom and/or camera z then the top of the screen chan...

Re: "Position" values of X and Y

Awesome. Thanks for responding. I suspected it was something along those lines, but I wouldn't have been able to articulate it without seeing it in writing. "Cliftons", a unit based on higher creative thought rather than real-world measurements. More seriously, here's an answer...

"Position" values of X and Y

Hello all: I never gave this much thought until someone asked me and then I went looking in the User Manual for the answer. Couldn't find it. What unit of measurement is being used for the X, Y values in the workspace? The center of the visible region is 0,0. Okay, that makes perfect sense. The lowe...

No no! Wild horses couldn't drag me away from Moho 12. I've been waiting for these new features. I'm just glad the crash reminded me not to assume it is going to respond the way AS 11 did. I'm sure the pros are loving Moho 12 already.

Re: This file crashes Moho 12, over and over.

Yeah, there's a reason most professionals wait until the first bug fix update before completely relying on new versions (whether OS or software). No matter how big the beta tester team, it just doesn't match the whole user base bashing away at it. I know how to fix the problem, I just don't know ho...

Re: This file crashes Moho 12, over and over.

If you delete the layer translation keys for the bone layer, it won't crash (and you should be able to redo the translation). I've seen this once before, and I'm trying to figure out what causes it. Do you remember how you created those layer translation keyframes? Was this an older, AS file brough...

This file crashes Moho 12, over and over.

Hey all. I was testing Moho 12. Playing with an image file and pin bones. There are several pin bones but it sure didn't seem like enough to drop the program to its knees. This file crashes Moho. In fact, upon reopening the file several times, I find the program freezes right up if I try to animate ...
