I'm also unable to get the tutorials to play

Edit* GOM Player works fine. I didn't really want to install yet another media player but it was worth it! Thanks Selgin. Thanks Genete :)

I've enjoyed this thread a lot - from the great animation that started it off to the talk of rostrum camera's. It reminded me of the rostrums I've built over the years. My original (Super8) was made from my Dad's old photographic enlarger stand. My final one (around 1988) was built from Link 51 squa...

I want to add my thanks for this video too. I loaded it into my video editing software and created a DVD so I can view it on the TV as I work in AS. It's been a great help.

Hi Andrew,

There's a great video tutorial on just that subject here....

Oh, and a 'rig' is the skeleton, made up of bones in AS, that enables you to animate your character.

Hi joel, I feel the same way about AS (and the forum) as you. I get on with AS better than any other 2D software and find it a joy to use. At work we have been given the opportunity of submitting proposals for animated series. I have done all my artwork (and some animation) in AS. I've heard people ...

Vern, I have almost no idea how you are achieving these results but it's amazing to me. It feels like you are on the verge of revolutionising 2D animation! Seriously...I haven't seen any other 2D software produce anything like that.

I haven't used this compositing app with AS but have with other animation footage. Check out the demo - it will work fine I'm sure. It's not free but very good value and has had excellent press reviews.

You've had it a week and created that already! :D That's quite amazing work. Your timing will improve with experience but the character is already excellent. Love the walk! AS is addictive because it's so easy to get results fast, as you've found out. Can't wait to see what you come up with when you...

Byanfu I was going to ask the same thing :D Also...as your animators need the voice track to animate to how did you deal with being unable to shift the sound clip in AS? Did you have the animation timed so perfectly at the storyboard stage that you could cut the track into exactly the right length f...

Stunning work! From the design to the animation everything is top notch and you obviously have a great team there. Reg the 'layer ordering problem' that some here mentioned... I guess what most people (me included) are wondering is how, in the front view of a character running, you easily have the a...

Wow! After one week of trying out AS? That's impressive. The animation sequence is great but I liked the whole film too. Like a stylish nightmare :) Great stuff!
