Re: rolling wheels

Like everything else, there's more than one way, depends on what you want, I think it's come up more than once on the forum. You could just use physics. Otherwise, here's a very simple example showing another principle, I'm sort of embarrassed to post it (you'll see why, going through a bad period),...

Re: Wine and Moonlight

This is really well drawn and funny (to me). Maybe in a sort of Woody Allen way. If you have to explain a joke, it usually kills it. I also appreciate the care you have taken with the woman's jaw moving with sync and with the gradient on the sky. I wonder if you also thought about putting a shaded e...

Re: MOHO, the original Anime Studio

Was "Moho" a more appealing name from a marketing POV than AS? "Moho" may have aroused some curiosity, AS, perhaps, "I won't bother even trying this because it sounds twee and I don't do anime". I know that a lot of Moho (most?) users didn't like the name change possibl...

"First animation using ASP..." but obviously not your first animation. Good work.

Re: Noisy effect isn't rendering.?

No idea really, but whenever I have display or render issues first thing I do is turn off/disable GPU acceleration.

Re: What would you like to see in 10.5/11?

Just a tiny thing to add - on the timeline "Add Keyframe" right click menu, I would like to have "cut/copy/paste" added.

Re: Problem with 1st Tutorial in Anime Studio Pro 10

Hi Bry Try setting your display Quality (little box on right just above timeline) to "High", should be able to preview the gradients. Layer blending mode is the last selection item, but there's boxes "OK, Apply and Cancel" after that. Try adjusting your screen resolution. I know ...

Re: Problem with 1st Tutorial in Anime Studio Pro 10

I'm guessing you're looking at your preview. Stop on any frame, render it out - e.g. as an .mp4 or just a single frame at any stage of the animation and see how it looks.

Re: What do you think about the AS10 main characters?

Hi Victor, the characters are great, but I think some of yours are even better. I wonder if it might be more attractive to potential users if you showed some of the past AS characters that have been a success in TV spots etc that people might recognise and relate to.

Re: Anime Studio 11?

Yes, any day now, judging by the current $99 ASP10 offer from SM (check the website or your Email). Which possibly doesn't make your decision any easier. I've been using ASP8 - the $199 upgrade wasn't tempting, but I will go for the $99, even knowing that as soon as 11 comes out you'll be able to ge...

Re: Crumbling Dollar 3D Effect

Never thought to do this in AS, (here's a crumbling text I did in Blender a few years ago if anyone's interested in a 3D example: https://vimeo.com/4042447).

Yes, thanks again. Shapes like that have lots of uses besides blocks and mobile phone keys - portholes, plane windows, old fashioned TV screens, etc. And you can't import them from Inkscape.

Can't someone find out where he lives go and knock on his door and find out what's happened to him (or phone a relative)? For the amount of trouble he went through to get as far as he did he would have spent less time and made more money cleaning windscreens. We all know about internet scams, and to...

Hayasidist, thanks for getting back so quickly. What I was after was vertical sides, horizontal top and bottom, rounded corners. I'm building a wall out of blocks, mine don't have to be very accurate just rounding a polygon is OK for this; I think Spaceboy is looking for the same thing with more pre...

Hayasidist, thanks for these incredibly useful tools. When you're working on your new version, do you you think you could also include a rounded rectangle (thanks to your polygon tool it's easy to make one by adding a point to every second side of an eight sided polygon, but would be nice to just ha...
