I agree! My tips for tracing are to go quiskly 'round the shapes and then go back and adjust the curves with the adjust curve tool - keyboard shortcut 't' for tweak. After that add points if you need them. If you do want to go the 'Illustrator' route I use Xara xtreme. It is way fast and is a pleasu...

Anime Studio is good for tracing. In fact in a lot of cases it is best to trace your characters in AS in order that you get nice clean bone transformations in your animation. You can import AI files but due to the way AS works you will probably need a bit of clean - up work. (Tip - Export your AI ch...

It all looks very positive! I am praying that the path nodes are separate from the movement keys so that we can time the animation along a curve, If that is the case it will make my life a lot nicer :D Are there other feature updates to be announced or is that it? Whatever they are all steps forward...

Hi DK I think the after-effects filter is pretty identical to the Premier one. Try fiddling around with the settings. It changes how the filter messes with your colours. I think I use saturation. If I know a job is going to TV I run my colour models and set-ups through the filter and tweak my colour...

It is really tough putting this stuff in any order as it changes depending on project. Oh well, here goes. 1. Better interpolation. (And more control over it!) 2. Motion paths. I would like to be able to move objects on curves and to be able to adjust the speed separately. (I've had jobs where I hav...

onion skin markers.
It takes one click to turn them on but many to turn them off. One would do just fine.
Actually, a couple of times I've managed to get what looks like two markers on top of each other in the same frame - the tint is twice as dark. Trying to turn both off took ages.

bitmaps and wire frames
I would like to be able to see my bitmaps current frame in outline'/wire frame. Onion skins work like this but when the current frame doesn't it makes aligning with a previous frame very hit or miss.
thanks for listening.

Yes that does work but I am flipping back and forth between AS and Photoshop tweaking bitmaps.n My current work around is to rename the bitmap after each modification. As long as the name is different AS will update it. If the name is the same it sticks with the one it has. (Unless you restart - as ...
