Hi Genete, Here is a very quick 3D rig similar to your AS rig but with far less bones. The model is made in LightWave 3D and constructed with polygons and points similar to what AS uses. I could have easily mapped nice brush strokes around the eyes and mouth etc but i did'nt want to spend too much t...

Thanks for your amazing examples Genete. What is confusing me though is this amazingly complex bone rig required just to get a very simple axis manipulation of 2D planes in 3D space. Would'nt things be made a lot easier if E-Frontier included a basic 3D bone rig in the next version of AS or am I com...

Hi Genete. Here is the first question.
Are you using a script to drive the bones on the 3D axis?

Hi Genete, Without putting you to any trouble, would it be possible to see a VERY basic rig with say two bones. One bone that rotates on the Y axis with a child bone that rotates on the X,Z planes maybe parented to a simple lyer with a couple of ovals that rerpresents eyes? I just need to grasp a ba...

Hi Darth. Thanks for the explanation. I'd love to try playing with a 3D bone rig myself as I have a grounding in 3D but with AS I'm finding it really hard to find any tutorials on starting with it. Maybe I've missed something along the ways but I'm not sure if all this 3D bone stuff in AS is based o...

Not sure about command line rendering but it isn't an issue with batch rendering. Maybe I will just have to resort to that next time. Thanks for all the tips!

Media Player Opening Help

Is there a way to stop media Player Auto opening each time AS renders a scene? I'm trying to do a school project and it's driving me insane not to mention the extra time it's adding to thr render times.

Hi Genete. I'm having trouble understanding what you are saying. Initially I thought you were reffering to a new feature and I tried intrerpolating between a couple of objects with non equal amounts of points but nothing happened. Don't worry. I have trouble understanding the most basic of things mo...

>Hi DK, not sure what you mean by 'service exchange' - if you could give >me an example...?? What I mean is...Surely there is something YOU can offer, as a service, (like use of your camera, camera man, equipment), in exchange for the services of a professional animator instead of just asking for a ...

I totally agree with you. For a while I had no webspace and anytime I wanted to upload even simple image I had to place it somewhere quite inconvenient. Yahoo groups have a files and images upload section in their foiruums. I would have thought this the norm.

Yoshimiandkatoi. Maybe if you offered a service exchange for animation you might get a better response from animators. If there are any anyone interested in such a deal would you be prepared to be interviewed and then donate 4 days of your time and resources? I'm serious. The film quality on your si...
