Tablet advice

I am thinking about getting a tablet. I have been checking out the Wacom Intuos line (Draw, Art, Photo, Comic). I noticed that with the Comic version a free copy of Anime Debut ships (not a big deal because I have ASPRO 11.2) and the tablet only comes in the small size (working area 6" X 3.7&qu...

Re: Help Shape the Future of Anime Studio

In the motion/graph editor I would love the ability to constrain a handle horizontally or vertically. This can be done in other software graph editors such as Maya or AE. I think this feature would help a lot. Also, any enhancements to flip geometry when creating smartbones for turns, or the like, w...

Re: Adjusting bezier handles

I probably didn't word it right. I was just wondering how to constrain a bezier handle in the motion/graph editor either horizontally (to prevent any unwanted overshoot) or vertically.

Thanks for the link. I will post something there.

Best way to do this...

I have been designing my character and before I start rigging him I have a few questions about best practices. I am designing (and rigging) the character with each leg and foot pointing in opposite directions. 1. I want to have my character walk on the screen from left to right. Both legs and feet w...

Adjusting bezier handles

When I'm trying to adjust the bezier handles "perfectly" horizontal (and pull them out) I can't seem to be able to do it. Typically, in other software, I just held down the SHIFT key while adjusting the handle and it locked it horizontally. How do you do this in ASPro?

Thanks!

Re: New Webinars?

I like slowtiger's ideas and to add the application there of - the whole process of making a character (nothing too crazy) and then rigging it with smartbones, switch layers, etc... Showing how to make the character turn, etc... Tips on modeling to make sure it can be animated most efficiently. Also...

Re: Apple Pencil (+iPad Pro)

Biggidea, I have all the stylus that have been mentioned, except the WICS 2. Personally, I like the Adonit the best right now but the WICS 2 looks good as well. I also have the Bamboo which is really not bad for "bigger" brush strokes, especially in Procreate. For palm rejection I have fou...

I just bought the app Astropad ($20) and it literally turned my iPad 3 into a cintiq-like device. Check it out

Timeline question

I have been away from ASPro for a while and was creating an animation blocking things out. I then wanted to offset certain keyframes for certain bones but the keyframes at a certain time seem to be all together at that specific pose so I can't just pick (say) the arm bones and just move them in the ...

Motion path for bones

After watching Victor's latest webinar on animation principles it occurred to me that having a motion path for animated bones would be very helpful. I remember using this a lot in Maya and it was very helpful to fine tune paths. Also, if the onionskin feature was not frame-dependent. Meaning one doe...
