Re: Three new spots using image layers

As everyone else said, amazing work as always! Victor, have you ever considered making a full length movie? I know it would be extremely time consuming but when I look at your demo reals and watch your webinars I'm just like, "This guy should be running his own large animation studio!" I d...

Re: Quick test animation

Looks very nice. Great movement in the arms and the bends look perfect. Is this smartbones? Layers? What's your technique? Thanks Daminal! The arms, legs and body have smart bone movements assigned to them and the hands and mouths are switch layers. The feet are locked with independent angle and ta...

Quick test animation

What's up y'all! It has been too long but I'm getting back into the swing of things and working in AS again! I made this test animation with a character based on myself but I used some Robert Downey Jr. lines from "Tropic Thunder" because, well....why not? It's a great movie! I'm revamping...

Arrange button (Move objects to front or back)

I was working in illustrator and was moving a lot of assets on my canvas to the front or back within a particular layer and had an idea about layer stacking and object ordering. Would it be possible to make a button where you can re arrange the stacking order of an object by just left clicking and d...

Re: cutting out an image

True. I definitely would not use this method for cutting out parts for a character. If your looking to cut simple objects this works just fine. Another example of were I've used this technique is for talking heads. Although it's better to create pngs by cutting out objects in an editing program to s...

Re: Anime Studio for mobile devices??

Heyvern, Do you think it would be possible to offer AS via cloud sharing someday? After you said virtualization it made me think of all the cool stuff people are using now. In particular the "Onlive game service. I read it's not doing to well business wise but I think they're switching over to ...

Re: Anime Studio for mobile devices??

One can always dream!!!! On a side note, if ANYONE from the AS development team reads this, one feature that would be utterly amazing and incredibly useful is using the same idea that photo puppet uses to view switch layers!!!! A visual tab that opens that you can scrub through poses! That would be ...

Re: Anime Studio for mobile devices??

Yet another example that animation programs can run and create animation on a mobile device! This program (photopuppet) even uses a type of switch layers and looping! Pretty awesome if you ask me! Any thoughts on this??? anyone?????

Can't reposition or move switch layer

This is probably something simple but I can't figure it out. I have a switch layer (mouths) that is sub layer for a bone group of my character. When I try to use the transform layer tool on frame zero to reposition it I can't move it at all. If I'm on the timeline I can move it but when I want to re...

Re: Interpolating sub layers in a switch layer

What is your set up look like? Are you trying to use interpolate a folder within a folder? If so that might be the problem. As far as I know you can only use interpolate within the first subset of images. If not, can you upload the file to share so anyone who wants to help can look at it to see what...

Re: Animate lightning in AS pro 10

Hi = ->'s 2 animals, I made a tutorial on making a lightening strike awhile ago and thought this might help. As Selgin said though, I'm sure it's more important to get the feeling of lightening more so than anything! szzJOyo_gv0 -4ADdZK6SXM In most cartoons that I can recollect, lightening is almost...

Re: Anime Studio for mobile devices??

Just as a side note, here are the two programs I'm talking about. Plastic animation studio and IDraw. Two pretty amazing programs that I use on my iPad. Great fun for doing very BASIC animation stuff. z-aIMHKZ0Y8 snYU1eT8COM Also, if you're into creating and importing bastardized artwork "Procr...

Re: Inserting an animated gif, possible?

The absolute easiest way I've found to do this is to convert it to an .mov (as the others have said) by using this online conversion site. http://video.online-convert.com/convert-to-mov It is super easy, and more importantly it's FREE. This way you don't to buy, open up or download another program. ...

Re: best advice on depth order

Absolutely NOT useless! I've been having this issue with one of my characters for weeks now and I wanted to shoot myself in the face! I could not, for the life of me figure out why one of my switch layers looked blurry when I was working on a project. It rendered o.k. but it still drove me mad! You ...
