I enjoyed it. I think the character designs and animations were very well done. Here are a few comments... The opening credits It is fine giving people credit where it is due but I almost closed the movie because the credits were so long. I'd suggest moving them to the end or shorting them. The anim...

I'm on a monitor not a TV so that may be part of it. Also I've always used the highest res so I can get more in the screen. Trust me working in 3D Max or Maya you'd want as much room as you can get to reduce scrolling through settings all day. :)

The one on the top right is close to what the girl has right now which in my mind looks too mature. Also on the girl's eye it that black line supposed to be an eye lash o...

since the shape is cut there is no solution. You would have to make the legs a single shape.

I usually select all the bones (shift a)
then in the time line I move the current frame to where I want to copy.
I then in the timeline click and drag a selection window around the frames I want to copy.
next simply click on the copy then paste buttons in the time line

go to a frame you want to hide the layer on.
open the layer properties
un-check the visibility switch.
press ok

that should set a key frame to hide the layer

I made this with your video in mind and wrote up basically how I did it. Hope this helps. I'm sorry I did it in AS 7 Pro. But maybe the video will help as well as the notes.

I did this too on a project but for shadows. The way you mentioned (separate groups) is pretty much the only way short of cutting the highlights into the shapes. I will say this. I needed the shadows to all be the same value when rendered and many of them overlapped. This was fixed by moving them al...

Being goofy. Made this missile trail and explosion. http://www.vimeo.com/13903009 Some brief notes... Problem Wanted to make the trail pass in front of and the behind part of the land scape.
