Save for other versions of AS

I think it would be great if AS had an option to save files as older versions of AS. This way if a user has something to share that all users pro or basic could benefit from learning/using then it would make it very easy to save as an older version. I know that some new features will be lost if expo...

I looked at the forums and found the jEdit solution to save as an older version of AS and tried it but it didn't work.

I made this post, maybe someone can help out or maybe a script already exists.

Script for exporting/saving AS 7 Pro to older versions of AS

It is mostly in the title. Is there a script for saving the AS 7 Pro files as older basic versions for other people to learn from? I tried using jEdit to make a file work in an older version of AS but it didn't work. I'm not a programmer so I wasn't sure if it was even possible to do it with version...

Particle Effects: Water Fall and Psychedelic Twist

Was bored so I wanted to tinker with the grass passing by effect I did earlier. Here are some new effects that I did using those files as a foundation. It would take a while to explain everything I did so I'll cut to the core of it. Water Fall http://www.mediafire.com/?5ze26gydjv3njv2 Rescaled the e...

Given the amount of work here and how much you have learn I'd suggest calling it done and start on something new. At the very least take a two month break from this one and look at it with a fresh pair of eyes then. Things I recommend for the next project/scene. Decide on a firm standard for how the...

Along with this I think it would be handy to have folders in the action list as well.

Very nicely done Nimphaea! You may want to post it on youtube or something. I had to save the file to watch it because it took to long to load trough the link. I realize it is work in progress so I'll keep my comments to a minimum. I think the character looks great. Goo design good line quality. I r...

A very smart use of the brush tools and curves. I was surprised to see so few lines when I opened the file.

I'll have to learn how to make the brush images and see what I can do.

ps
the purple character reminds me of the Coal Sprites in "Spirited Away".

Hi Dj Manik It was fun. Love the goofy sounds and then the elephant breaking through the wall. "not again" lol feed back... At a guess it is supposed to be night outside since I saw the black sky and the moon. However it was hard to tell that since the houses were so bright. If it was mean...

Particle Effect Man

How I did this... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iwoqL5gbdCc This is basically particle effects attached to bones but some extra things needed to be done to get it right. I drew out the shape of a man and made him weirdly proportioned. I opened the shape layer settings and turned on the noisy settin...
