stop cycle at a frame
An easy question for someone:
When I have an action cycle on the timeline,
how do I stop the cycling somewhere down
on the timeline?

ANIMATION MASTER
I never had heard of animation master and went over to check it out.
It seems to be something I would like to learn. Does it generate
decent animations? Seems so.

graphic card
Well, all I know is when I popped the card in it really improved the rendering rate by about 10x. It says it has 256 mb on board and 512 "supporting" so maybe it just uses the memory in some clever way. It also taps into windows x architecture, so who knows what it does -- but it is faster...

video graphic cards
hey i just bought a modest graphic card for $50

I only mention this because it really beefed up the
rendering process in AS. It used to take a while to
print just 10 seconds, but now it is much faster.
I am sure everyone knows this but I am the Studio Forum Idiot

alpha issues
I had the same problem, trying to create transparencies. I use Painter for drawing and I found that by drawing and painting my image, selecting it with the selection tool, copying it and pasting it back again, this creates the info you need.
