I actually have a script exactly like this for when I make animatics. I import the layers of a photoshop and then use this tool to put things at different Z depths while not visually changing size. The reason to why I have never uploaded it is because it's not 100% done. It will currently only work ...

I haven't tested your script yet (browsing on my phone during vacation), but I think it's great that you've started writing scripts. The more people writing scripts, the better.

And it's a great feeling when you need Anime Studio to do something and you can write a script that does it.

The resolution of your monitor is probably set wrong. Maybe you have it set to a 4:3 resolution when you have a 16:9 monitor (or something like that. When you set your resolution in windows, one of the options should say Recommended after it. change it to that.

that's great man as always :) regarding the 'with angle' - could you make the locking bone offset by 180degs in the script so that they can face away from eachother? just a thought... :) I sure can. The download link is updated and now contains an extra file, AbsoluteBoneLockWithAngle180.lua. btw p...

Works allot like capricorn33 script, except that the foot position is driven by the IK of the leg, sweet stuff! Yeah, I've tried that script (after watching one of your videos I think) but I didn't like that you couldn't control the foot by moving the leg. so I wrote this instead. It's just a perso...

ponysmasher, I tried out this script, but when I tried moving the origin it wouldn't move at all. Lua Consule reads.... ....error in function 'layer'. argument#2 is 'nil'; 'number' expected. I have version 8.01 of ASPro and I use Windows 7. udd Looks nice though. uddhava Did you create a layer with...

I also tried the bind camera to layer script, but when I used it everything disappears. Seems like it could be very useful though. I hope telling these problems is helpful. udd The reason why everything seems to disappear is probably because the layer you bind the camera to is at 0 Z depth (the def...

Yeah, it seems AS sometimes forgets which directory it´s currently in and saves the .anme file in the folder where it last saved to. I'll have to do some testing.
It works if you save the file with "save as" and then run the script though.
