Thank you.
I understand (-ish!) that QT is limited to 32-bit. Or was. If so, does that mean I need to use the 32-bit version of AS? And, if so, can I use a file created in 64-bit and open it in 32-bit for export?
Cheers.

Re: Transparent background?
Thankyou.
When you say a sequence of files, does that mean one file per frame?
So in a 10 minute sequence, there would be 14400 files?

Transparent background?
Hello, Is it possible to export an animation (i.e. a character) with a transparent background, please? This is so I can place it in Premiere Pro without having to key. I think I understand that this can be achieved with Flash... but with many serious downsides. Any advice would be greatly appreciate...

Re: Delete a bone
Hello Jahnocli,
How embarrassing!
I am now at 0... and have deleted the bone.
I shall sit in the corner of the classroom and write out 100 times: "I must be less stupid in future."
Thank you.

Delete a bone
Hi,
Could someone advise me how to delete a bone, please?
I've selected it with the Select Bone tool and pressed Delete... but nothing happens.
Many thanks!

My avatar isn't tiny enough!
Hi
I've tried to upload my avatar... but with no success.
It's 80 x 80 px, 72 dpi, jpg at 6... but I still cannot get it down to 6 kB. I even reduced the dpi to 40 and the jpg to 0, but still too big (16 kB).
Could anyone suggest a solution, please?
Thanks.

Red dot
Hello,
Does anyone know why some vector layers have a red dot by them in the Layers panel, and others don't, please?
Thanks.

Re: Shape order?
Hello Slowtiger,
Thank you very much.
I'd missed it by using the Select Points tool to select the shape which grays them out! It's the Select Shape tool I needed to use but I didn't think of it as a Fill activity.
Thanks again.

Re: Create Shape doesn't!
Thank you, synthsin75...
Yes, that's the specialised stroke/fill actions.
I guess what confused me was that the tutorial focused on the punching holes which doesn't work as described and contradicted the videos. And that it is used to duplicate shapes, which it doesn't appear to do.

Shape order?
Please could someone tell me how to change the shape stacking order (i.e. on a single layer)?
I cannot find "Bring to front" or "Send to back" which, obviously, must be somewhere!
Many thanks...

Re: Create Shape doesn't!
After spending hours researching and experimenting, I think I've fathomed it out. According to... ... the SM videos, it's only used for punching holes in closed shapes; ... the ASP help file, it's only used for specialised stroke/fill actions; ... the ASP pdf tutorial, it's used for duplicating line...

Create Shape doesn't!
Sorry... one day I'll stop asking questions! I'm doing 2.4 in the tutorial of ASP11. It says draw a line with stroke, but no fill. Done! [Do I get a prize?! :D ] Then, "use the Create Shape tool to create a second shape... now you have two shapes that are superimposed directly on top of each ot...

Re: Cannot weld two circles
Thank you, drumlug13! I bought the ASP11 videos sold by SmithMicro but, strangely, most of them are actually ASP9 or 10... so it's a bit confusing. Confusion isn't beneficial when you're a beginner! I'm also using the tutorial supplied with the program but, as I said above, it either contains errors...
