I figure I'd post this here as well, for a heads up. This is part of a message I sent to Steve (who has said he's the only support version 6 has right now). Some AVIs do indeed work but not ones that work in 5.6. You can check out the file below. ... Also, I can no longer import AVI files that I can...

All of my AVIs work in Standard and Pro 5.6. This has to be some kind of bug involved with registering the trial of ASD6 and/or having the ASP6 trial also installed.

Yeah, that is odd. You can't get any feedback while you draw with it unless you have 'paths' enabled. And why are construction curves now called 'paths'?

Damn it, damn it, damn it!!!!! WTF?!! ASD6 registered will not export or import AVI. I've uninstalled and reinstalled several times. 5.6 AVI works fine. There must be some bullshit in the install somewhere I can't find. I even tried using the uninstaller to no luck. I entered my damn serial number, ...

I actually like seeing the vector points while using the freehand tool. It is king of odd that the min/max line width was replaced with a percentage though.

It seems like some things were changed that I never read any requests for.

See Mike, you're already surpassing me. (Of course that's not saying much.) I had thought about scaling the bone layer, but I hadn't realized that you could used that transform and reset the layer afterwords. Great idea!

Actually Vern, it's CTRL+ALT+F5. No shift needed. Odd though, clicking the currently selected tool after reloading does nothing, regardless of tool. You have to select a different tool or use that tool's hotkey.

Thanks for letting us know.

Could anyone explain the intended use of "Hide shape"?

You can only unhide all shapes, so no toggling. But it doesn't even render. Is there some need for this?

No "Sort Layers By Depth", no one ever said anything about that. If you can't follow these very clear instructions, you may just be hopeless. 1. Take all of the layers you may wish to animate the sorting order of and place them in a single group or bone layer (both of these are 'gro...
