Ok, I'll join that forum too.synthsin75 wrote:Nope, but registration's free and many more scripts are only found there.
Just curious but what's the difference between that one and this one?

Follow Path tool on bitmap
Does the 'Follow Path' tool not work on bitmaps? I'm trying to use it to create a curve deformer and I can get it to work on a vector layer. It's not working when I try to do it with a bitmap tho.

Re: Replace to layer in Photoshop file
Check out my old Syn_UpdatePSD script to update a psd import (I haven't used it in ages, so no idea if it works with AS11). http://www.kelleytown.com/forum/animators/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=760 You have to parse the psd to determine the layer IDs and hierarchy, then parse the AS document to match these ...

Re: Layer from one character to another to be used as a matt
Masking. Put both characters into another layer (group), switch on masking, one is the mask, the other gets masked. Thanks slowtiger. It sounds like this is a complete hold out of one character over the other. What I'm trying to do is create masks from specific parts of a character. So for example,...

Layer from one character to another to be used as a matte
In our Harmony rigs we have to do a lot of matte work where we pipe the artwork layers from a character to be used as mattes for other characters. How would one do this in ASP? In ASP all the masking is handled within a group that lives within the character. So how would I pipe the layer from anothe...

Change layer order outside of the group
How would one handle a situation where a character's hand is behind another character but then has to put that same hand in front of the character? Does animating layer order work outside of the group?

Re: Help using Animation & Graphic Design to earn Money
If you have great designs that work well on merchandise, you could open up your own Zazzle store. I run one where I donate my royalties to pug rescue groups. One thing that's nice about Zazzle is that there's no monthly fee to run it whereas, last I saw, CafePress has a fee.

Re: Crashing when reloading scripts/tools
Thanks hayasidist,
My script is really simple. Just printed out the name of the file and the path to the file. I'm just trying to get familiar with lua and getting relevant information from ASP.

Re: Crashing when reloading scripts/tools
Thanks. The script itself seems to work because ASP stopped crashing after awhile when I reloaded with the same script. I'll chalk it up to gremlins until I can reliably reproduce.

Crashing when reloading scripts/tools
Has anyone encountered crashing when they reloaded their tools/scripts? When I use my hotkey to reload my scripts ASP crashes out. It did this both with me launching ASP locally and over our network. Unfortunately the crashing has now stopped but it was consistently crashing each time I reloaded my ...
