Vintage Moho collectible
Here's a vintage Moho collector's item from the last century. Moho was first developed for BeOS (at the time a new operating system created as an alternative to Windows and Mac). I sold it online mostly, but I did produce some physical CDs to sell at trade shows and to share with members of the pres...

Re: [Solved]: Lost Activation on existing Smith Micro era install
Hi rogermate. It looks like your activation problem was solved. It's totally fair for you to be frustrated by this kind of thing - for the software you purchased to stop working is not a pleasant experience. Nor is it acceptable, in my opinion. I'd like to give a little more background, I hope it fe...

Moho has new owners!
We are very excited to announce that Moho 2D animation software has been acquired by Lost Marble LLC, the company founded by Mike Clifton, the original creator of Moho, and Victor Paredes, Supervisor of Moho animation at Cartoon Saloon and former Moho Product Manager. “We are thrilled to continue de...

I've got some news...
Hi Everybody! You haven't heard much from me in a long time, and that's because, well, I haven't been associated with Moho for a couple years. That's about to change. You may have heard the news already, but here's the short version: Víctor Paredes and I have formed a new company, (not so coincident...

Re: Mohpose 3D Posing System for Moho 12
Wow, this is crazy! You're some kind of mad genius! This is really cool, and seems like a useful tool for preproduction or reference. I was never really sold on the addition of Poser features into Moho - it seemed to heavy and the nature of the two separate applications meant it could just never be ...

Re: Thanks Mike
Thanks for the offers of help, but hosting isn't that expensive. I don't mind paying some to keep this going. Just not sure who's a reliable provider. Most of them just seem *too* cheap. Hosting for $2 or $4 a month is just so ridiculously cheap that I wouldn't expect it to be very reliable.

Re: Thanks Mike
Thanks, I'm glad the forum is still useful. And me too, I guess. I've been using the same hosting company for lostmarble.com for many, many years. But they got sold to someone else who seems to make random configuration changes. I'm thinking of moving it somewhere else. Does anybody use a hosting co...

Forum software update
Over the last few days we had some problems with the forum. I've updated the software to get things working again, but I've got to be realistic... I am no longer involved with Moho in any way. OK, one way: I pay for this forum and do a little bit to keep it running. I'm doing this because I know the...

Hmm, it doesn't look exactly like this is the problem, but try switching between clockwise and counter-clockwise faces in the Layer Settings dialog.

Re: Rendering zoomed-in vector layers is very slow
Here's probably what's happening: Many of the layer effects scale as you scale your layer. For example, if you have layer shading turned on, let's say you set a blur radius of 30 pixels. If you then scale up your layer by 10x, the blur radius goes up to 300 pixels. As you might expect, computing a b...

Re: Lost Marble down?
I'm keeping lostmarble.com alive because of the forum. But since I have no involvement with Moho anymore, I decided to shut off all the other pages. (There may be some active pages still, but the homepage doesn't direct you to anything.) I made this decision quite a while ago - I guess you're just s...
