Re: WIP - "FKIK manipulate bones" tool.
I've noticed that if you have used smart bone actions to get a good knee bend, this tool screws it up. Has anybody else noticed this? Which is such a shame as this is a great tool. Is there a way to remedy this? Or would it mean that instead of using smart bones to get good point movement on a leg b...

Re: everything greyed out
This might be too obvious, but have you selected the particular bone in question?
If not press 'B' on your keyboard to select the 'select bone' tool, and then click on the bone you want to release the points from.

Re: Wrestler
Lovely drawings.
As others have said it would be even better if you could add an image that depicts more anticipation.
After your second image you could add a drawing of him crouched much lower down and twisted to his right, just before he launches off the ground.

Re: Halloween Videocard + "behind de scenes"
That was great. How much do I have to slow the 'making of' scenes down to enable me to watch it at normal speed? Haha, thanks. I didn't want to boring you with the video. I will record a slower one when I find some time  I very much doubt that your work would bore me. :D If you intend to pres...

Does it render though? Bossco is the rig you are having problems with originally made in pro 9.5 mine was not i draw it in pro 7. I haven't got a problem with a rig of my own, I'm just trying to work out what your problem may be. Just tried it out and the same happens to me. It seems to be when you...

Is there a way to manipulate points on different layers?
I'm trying to do something which I don't know is possible.
Can you select some points on one layer, and then also select points on another layer, and then manipulate those points together at the same time?

I'm looking forward to watching it but it appears that the video is no longer there.
Have you taken it down for some reason?

Re: Animation Test of eye movement...
Yes that does look much better.
Rather than remaining static, and rather than staying stuck on to the iris and moving relative to the iris, it just moves around across the cornea which looks accurate and much more convincing.

You could use Plastic Animation Paper, which is free.

There are some online tutorials on its site to get you started too. http://plasticanimationpaper.dk/tuts/Tutorials.html

Re: Is there a way to create an action from a keyframe?
Yes it does make sense Vern, thanks. I just tried out your second suggestion, and yes it works. Although the only difference was that using this technique you have to delete all the keyframes in the action timeline you are presented with before and after your frame of action, then move your keyframe...

Re: Best Compressing and Exporting Codecs?
I agree that for best quality I'd render out an animation as an image sequence. And then render out in other software which does a better job if you have access to it. It's good practice anyway as it allows you to do further post-production work on your animation and opens up more possibilities. PNG...
