Re: Shooting musical notes?
for a start try: > use standard brush 538 (quarter note / crotchet) on a stroke-only path. > use curve exposure to reveal the path > have the guitar on a layer and use follow path along the note stroke to make that layer track along the path. obviously, you'll need to set the start / end percentages...

Re: Binding Objects with other Moving Objects
For example: say you have layers: Bones >box - vector positioned with its centre line on the rim of ... >wheel - vector - a circle box is always to point "up" and follow wheel around. Bones layer has 2 bones in a vertical chain - one (B1) centred on the centre of the wheel vector, the othe...

Re: Color bug
there was a bug report on this some time ago (May 2014) but the devs closed the ticket as they weren't able to reproduce it. The video posted shows clearly THAT it happens - but does anyone have a good handle on the sequence of actions to recreate the bug? Is it limited to a single platform type or ...

Re: Brushes and Blend Modes
...Go into photoshop create a bright red square. Then go to: Layer>New Adjustment Layer>Hue/Saturation ..In the new saturation layer, turn saturation all the way down to zero. Then use your color dropper and pick the gray color from the square and look at its color information. The program will tel...

Re: Brushes and Blend Modes
AS 9 seems to be the one that was bugged since it incorrectly changed the luminosity of a blended shape when it was only supposed to alter the saturation. hmm .. that's interesting ... that means that (the version that I'm running of) Photoshop also has that AS9 "feature" -- pure white wi...

Re: Brushes and Blend Modes
yes - saturation blend does not seem to be working in 11. I also imported a .png of a red square -- that gave the same result as a vector; and tests on primary and secondary colours in vectors gave the same "white" result. Checked against photoshop -- pure white in saturation blend mode ov...

Re: Copy a body turn as a default position of another file
nope -- won't work with 10 or earlier - it's 11 onwards only --- I wanted it as the "bridge" into and out of FBF (an AS11 feature), plus so much changed in 11, that making it backward compatible never really crossed my mind. what you might try is: SAVE YOUR FILE SAVE A COPY with a new name...

Re: Script request: Set current layer to 'Don't mask this la
agreeing with Victor - IMO the problem is that the work area does not properly show what will be rendered - a render shows the red circle correctly - (i.e.NOT masked) but the work area shows it (incorrectly) masked. Which, again IMO and to be blunt, is a bug -- and it has been logged a few times in ...

Re: Copy a body turn as a default position of another file
So AS 10 pro or 11pro doesn't have any built in function to do that right? nope -- but there have been a few discussions around the subject that fizzled out ... and what you're planning to do is exactly what I am doing - which is why the script! If there's enough interest I'll raise a formal enhanc...
