hayasdist: Yes, I live in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA... copyright issues... that minor contribution merely reflected something I found on-line. I am somewhat prouder of yesterday contribution, my own effort, hopefully helpful, on masking to be found at: http://www.lostmarble.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p...

For new users, such as I, a file to study can be helpful. An animation with silhouette effect can be found at... http://www.megaupload.com/?d=VTQAFD0B I did the drawing with several layers... it would have been better to have the drawing all on one layer like PARKER does... I had to 'Add To Mask' fo...

I am a retiree and new user. Back in July of 2011 I bought Anime Studio Pro 8, Poser 8 and Toon Boom Studio 5.0 as animation seemed a good hobby for me. I am very impressed with Anime Studio technically and the product user community found here and elsewhere. Perhaps I over-reached as I have yet to ...

Are you quite sure this is not a (windows) operating system message? (Rather than an Anime Studio issue) Windows will limit access (at times) if you are not the sys admin... usually you are on a single user machine... Do you allow multiple user profiles on your machine? Please reply so others may be...

A Technique for the non-artist?
I am experimenting with the notion of clay-mation type figures which I then photograph with a digital camera. Bring the photo into Studio and then trace it.
Simple and fast to do various poses with simple figures. Move points for dramatic fore-shortened shots.
Is anyone else using this technique?

unusual 3D effects with little effort...
Don't know if anyone else has tried this 'technique'. If you invoke the script, 3D, cube several times resetting your fill color each time, you get cubes within cubes, which can be animated separately on the timeline. (using the 'rotate layer XY' tool) I have no conceptual ideas regarding this, howe...

Clearly no other lack of feature has upset so many. I am incensed as I value my time and cannot bill Smith Micro for the hours wasted trying to load in perfectly good archival (eps!) clip art to save time. For a cumbersome conversion workaround use Uniconverter... available at: http://sk1project.org...
