1. Don't use the Fill tool, use the Create Shape tool.
2. I keep saying that one day I will use the library, but right now I just import from previous scenes to reuse elements.

Re: A Cat Called Jam (behind the scenes)
I had already expressed my love for these clips via Twitter and you (or whoever is behind the films Twitter handle) had answered my question but if I may dig a little deeper: Could you point to examples where you used masked bitmaps and where bitmap textures and why you chose each method? Cheers, Marc

Re: Maximizing Graph Editor
You have to undock the timeline: Menu bar > Window > Docking > Timeline. The window remembers its size and position so you can easily toggle between the two states with the keyboard shortcut.

Re: Toilet Flush?
A very nice and simple trick: put a bank note layer into a group layer, and set that group layer origin point about half a bank note's length outside of it. Now rotate the bank note layer just a bit and slowly. Rotate the group layer fast, and scale it down over time. You have a bank note twirling ...

Re: Toilet Flush?
Depends on the the way the toilet flushes ;) For a kind of vortex situation I would animate a bank note on a spiral path, make it smaller as it approaches the centre. As it reaches the end of the path switch to a bill in that place free from the path and animate its swift "exit" down the d...

Re: Minecraft animation
I like this a lot. A Minecraft themed animation done entirely in 2D software - brilliant.

Re: Parent / unparent in place?
Thanks for your replies, everyone.
It's not about character building, it's about scene layout where I grouped layers, arranged them, then decided I needed a different hierarchy. I'll just get me another handful of that 'discipline' then

Can't turn off 'Use baked physics'
Hello, everyone, I want to animate a scene using Moho's physics engine. Having run the the simulation I turn on baked physics to return to the proper rate of playback and to turn my attention towards other elements. Unfortunately, I don't seem to be able to turn off baked phyiscs to re-run to the si...

Parent / unparent in place?
Hello, everyone,
is there a function, key-press, hidden menu item, setting or script that allows me to move layers into or out of groups while they maintain their position in world space?
Cheers,
Marc

Re: D.R. Greenlaw Demo Reel, 2019 Edition
Inspiring work on this reel!
But at the beginning I found it too fast paced. Towards the end, with the longer scenes, I found it easier to watch and better to appreciate the animation and art style.
Was Kung Fu Panda also laid out and animated in Moho?

Re: Layer Copies Script
Thanks for the quick reply, Stan,
and for your explanation. Of course I know how to get the copies out of the group, I just thought I had overlooked or misunderstood a setting. Will proceed like I already did then.
I'm still absolutely grateful for this script!

Re: Layer Copies Script
Stan (or anyone),
is there a way to turn off grouping the copies/references?
In my current project I want to create copies in the same place within the scene hierarchy, not put them in a new group.
Thanks,
Marc

No, I meant the second one, with the solo egg. It's the music combined with looking for meaning it what is clearly just an elaborate test
