Re: Need new video card, any suggestions?

I was using this program for the longest time with a gtx 760 and had very little problems with the program. I tend to bloat my files, so there tends to be some issues here and there but that's more cpu oriented. For the most part, it ran without a hitch. The I would consider though, and this is just...

Re: Skeletal fbf of character on 2's then 1's

The point is 1's shouldn't look quicker , they should look smoother during fast actions because you are doubling your in betweens. 1s or 2s has nothing to do with the intended speed of the action. and yes, I believe we're on the same page now. Thanks for the tip. Always willing to listen to people ...

Well anyways, all that aside, let me show you just how truly crappy of an artist I am. I filled in the stick figure from earlier and uh...there we go.

Re: Skeletal fbf of character on 2's then 1's

you're absolutely right. I'll pick and chose, but essentially, yes on the 1's it looks more fluid, but also in fastforward, which is distracting. I was just experimenting the whole time either way. I've been doing 2's all these years, and I think it's far more worthwhile. If I want to make things qu...

Re: Skeletal fbf of character on 2's then 1's

you're absolutely right. I think I'll stick with 2's on this guy. If I want the motions to be quick, I can always just make the transition to the next frame more dramatic. I'll need to practice/experiment more to get that down. 1's work for this character because in concept, he's going to inherit a ...

Skeletal fbf of character on 2's then 1's

Mapping out with stick figures. Trying to decide if 2's are better or 1's. with 1's I definitely have the quick motions down, but of course, anticipations are a little iffy. 2's kind of look good. Hard to tell. Hopefully I can overcome my own issues with actually providing meet to these bones. I now...

Re: Transition from Toon Boom to Anime Studio 11?

1. TOON BOOM SUPPORTS BITMAP DRAWING Toon Boom supports bitmap drawing, while Anime Studio does not. This is a big deal because a lot of Toon Boom users start off by sketching out keyframes using bitmap layers and then use vector layers to ink them. You should also note that Toon Boom allows users ...

I just discovered your style tutorial. I'll watch that 12348239 times. Then I'm going to take a break from this forum. Something tells me you're getting sick of my shenanigans.

Re: Color bug

lets also talk about fill/freehand. The fill does not ever match the freehand. I've realized that this is because of the fact that it uses stroke to cover what the fill doesn't, but I don't always use a stroke so...is there a work around for this? This is damning to my sense of precision....or is th...

Color bug

Occasionally when I'm using this, I lose all ability to switch colors on both fill and stroke. It absolutely decimates progress. I don't mess around with styles. Do I have to comprehend styles? Or is this indeed....................................................................................a bug...

Re: I'm done. (edit: okay lets talk about this)

@sargumphigas That sounds frustrating. I'm not even using any of those new features; I'm just trying to animate one of my AS10 rigs, and AS11 crashes when I select the transform bone tool--it doesn't crash every time I use the tool, but the transform bone tool definitely triggers it... Here's what ...

Re: I'm done. (edit: okay lets talk about this)

I'm with you guys on the crashing part. AS10 crashed a lot for me as well, but it was somewhat tolerable; AS11's crashing is not . The program crashes so damn frequently that I've had to force myself to save every time I add a keyframe. I get that my projects are on the demanding side, but the newe...

Re: Chain Glow Tutorial for Anime Pro Users

No such thing as a bad tutorial for AS in my opinion. As long as it shows how others use it, I'm always down to watch. Give this one a shot. Take that chain, as it is, but then establish the stroke like this: set the color of it to white, reduce the opacity, but then go down into effects and apply s...
