Animation>rescale keyframe i recommend first use animation>copy current frame and copy the entire document to the current frame (this will create keyframmes in all the animation channels). and make the same with the last frame. for example, you want to rescale since frame 10 to frame 20. yo...

but with the demo version, i think, you still can export the animation...
you could see how it's looking exporting it to video (control + e) instead rendering. is not better, but it's something.

i don't understand the problem...
but to see how is the layer blending working, you must render (control+r).
remeber you always just see a preview of your animation. you can't see the effects, the blur, the blending mode, etc but rendering.

aren't you talking about copy frames?
is in the menu
Animation>copy current frame
if you select all the animation channels and copy the current frame in the same current frame, it will created keyframes in all the document.

you can select the keyframes you want in frame 6, go to frame zero, copy, paste and then delete the keyframes in frame 6 (using the buttoms of timeline). another option is, being at frame 6, go up to Animation>Copy current frame... then select Copy entire document , to the frame zero.
