Keep stroke width uniform when dealing with groups??

Hey all! I was wondering, is there a way to keep all my stokes looking uniform when working with groups? I often make a group layer for eyes on a character and have a separate layer for the head. I do this for masking reasons. In doing this I us a lot of scaling in grouped layers thereby changing wh...

Multiple shapes one stroke???

Hey AS forum! Quick question for some of you more advanced users. I know you can create the effect of a single stroke around multiple objects in a group layer by taking the stokes off the objects and then turning on the shadow option and setting the offset and blur to 0 and expansion to at least 1 w...

Invader Zim animation

Just wanted to post something new. Haven't been here for a minute. Trying to make a character builder and Zim just kinda got created in process. I couldn't help it, he's one of the best characters of all time!!!!!! I miss this cartoon!!!! Anyway, just a little lip sync joy. The character was made in...

Photoshop

Thanks for the advice Parker but I have to stick with photoshop when it comes to making backgrounds for me! I'm a graphic artist and I've been using photoshop for so many years that it wouldn't be productive for me to use AS to make backgrounds. I can make a background 10 times faster in photoshop b...

Thanks!

Thanks Parker, Those are my favorites too. They are also the last ones I did so I think I'm getting a little better at making them. I didn't realize how hard it could be to make simple backgrounds look right. They need to be simple for the game or animation so they don't distract from the action tha...

Backgrounds??

What's up AS forum! I've been working on a couple of games with a friend and I've been making a few backgrounds in photoshop. He thought I could make some extra money to help make the game by selling artwork on content paradise or through the game site development form we use. I wanted to get your g...

This looks great! But I have to ask,is this all original stuff? Are you using any images or animations as reference for your work or is this all you? If it is, it's amazing!

Arnold Schwarzenegger lip sync with a couple of quotes.

This is an animation test for the game I'm working on as well. The actual character model will look like this but will be called Arnold Scrambledegger instead and will look like an egg. I didn't post that one because everyone would think I'm stranger than they already do. Besides I wanted to make an...

Game salad

I'm actually building my first game in a program called game salad. It's for mac only but to ME, it's really user friendly! Oh and about the lip sync, do you have to make mouths in a specific order for this to work correctly in AS? I'm gonna try it here in a bit and see what it's all about!

Matrix speech lip sync with cartoon character.

Sorry if this is a re-post. I'm really into getting into lip syncing so I took a character from his game he made and lip synced it to part of the speech Morpheous gave in the Matrix. They are actually in the process of making a movie and are considering Laurence Fishburne to voice this character so ...

Thanks guys!

Thanks for the comments guys! I'm not sure what you mean by type in reneuend. I scrubbed through the audio track using the arrow keys and manually picked the mouths I made for each sound. It was a little time consuming but I'm getting pretty fast at it! Is there a way to type words and make a charac...

Good stuff Kendric! I really like the movie style tone you have at the beginning and at :55 seconds. The pulse flashing is a great effect! Really good use of camera movements too! You could have used some funny lines or jokes in the scene though. Half of it seemed like it had a serious tone but then...

Great job!

Vagabond, Very impressed at your improvement in the animation from the first animation to the one you just made!! Practice really does make perfect! I would say to get even better just keep doing what you're doing. Watch tutorials, visit here and see what other people are doing for techniques and tr...
