Awesome!!!!
To lwaxana and everyone else who contributed to the colab, that was totally f'n awesome!!!!!! I loved seeing different animators styles used on the same character! If another collaboration happens I'm all on it and I'll use my voice next time! Truly, every animation was great! There should be a sect...

No biggie
No worries lwaxana! I was just doing for a bit of fun! I just really liked your character and wanted to mess with it. I know you can't use my animation with audio you don't own but I still thought I'd share this one with you as well. Just another fun animation. Let me know when the collab video is d...

Hi D.K.
Hi DK! I don't want super precise lip syncing I just want to be able to key frame my lip syncing in the most efficient way. I don't want a script to do it for me, I just want a script or function where I can use shortcut keys to place them as quickly as possible. Kind of like typing out my key frame...

Freddy
Hi lwaxana!
I've been on this lip sync kick lately and I thought I'd try a little something with your rig. It was just a real quick thing but it doesn't look too bad. Freddy reminded me of futurama so I used a Troy Maclure sound clip!

Ricky Gervais animation/complete song this time!
I also put a human face on the animation this time so it doesn't look so bizzare on a piece of toast. I know, I know it doesn't look like him but I just made a quick blank face for it. I might try to refine it later! Enjoy the song! LOL!

Faster easier way to keyframe switch layers??
I posted this as a question in the ho do I section but I think it would be a rather easy thing to do the the AS programmers or the tech savy AS users here who make scripts. If this function doesn't already exist, it would be really nice to be able to add key frames from switch layers by using short ...

Is there a better way to keyframe lip sync switch layers?
Thanks for the quick reply b15fliptop! I thought of assigning actions to shortcut phenoms which would work IF you could use them while scrubbing but you can only use the shortcuts if the timeline is playing back at full speed. That is SOOOO frustrating because AS can essentially do what I want it to...

Is there a better way to keyframe lip sync switch layers?
Does anyone know a better way to key-frame lip sync switch layers besides using a drop down menu? And before suggesting using auto lip syncing, that is something I don't like to do. I'd rather spend hours doing myself to have it look right you know what I mean? I've gotten pretty fast at lip syncing...

Thanks lwaxana!
Thanks for the compliment! I know exactly what you mean about the styles being different. I actually made the characters in photoshop because I'm so familiar with it but in hindsight I wish I would have made them completely in AS. BUT they don't look too bad when they are the size they are meant to ...

Longer lip sync test. Ricky Gervais clip new mouths
Another lip sync test for my characters. I created a new mouth set that resembles the family guy mouths. The sound file is Ricky Gervais from his guest appearance on the Simpsons. If you're wondering, the reason he is a piece of toast it's because it's one of the character models I'm using for a gam...

Very basic lip sync text for game character.
I'm working on making an iphone game and I'm using AS to make animated characters. This is a test for the lip syncing. It's actually only going to be 40 x 40 pixels so the lack of detail is on purpose. I exported this much larger so it wouldn't pixelate on youtube. Nothing fancy, the wavs are funny ...
