Re: Demo reel 2014
Thanks Slowtiger and lwaxana! I have indeed tried a couple footholds into vector animation, mostly for short commissioned works (ie the bike trainer in the demo reel, in which the character's legs are made of bones and vector layers), but those ventures have been seldom and very careful so far. Disc...

Re: Demo reel 2014
As a matter of fact, things usually tend to work the other way round in my experience, music leading inspiration and "picking" me rather than only serving a functional purpose or remaining an innocuous background buzz. Music leads, in my perspective, as the tremendous source of inspiration...

Re: Demo reel 2014
Agreed! I could hardly work for monthes on animated videos for artists/albums/tracks whom/which I can't relate to, or at least feel, but there are so many gems out there, in so many different styles, so many directions. The possibilities are countless. Animating something on a cooler, tropical mood ...

Re: Demo reel 2014
Thank you Danimal and 3deeguy for your kind comments! As for the soundtrack -- well, musical tastes... Not only do I love this very joint's kick, but the title itself also seemed pretty appropriate. Having borrowed another track from Edison before (with his permission), it only felt natural to holle...

Re: DOPUTUTTO MAX #5 TEASER
Thanks Danimal!
The purposely hand drawn, 12fps sequences might explain the shaking.
The whole animation was otherwise animated with ASP9, with the use of mask layers for shades & a couple more stuff.

FRONTIÈRE Teaser
FRONTIÈRE is a French self-published comics series (5 issues so far), with an original, hand-drawn cover for every copy.
For those wondering, this teaser was made exclusively with ASP 9, using both bitpmap stop-motion and masked vector layers.

Re: Particle layer editing ?
Oh, ok thanks...
The trouble in my case is that the particles themselves are image layers, not vector ones...
Thanks a lot however, manipulating vector particles seems to be a handy trick indeed!

Particle layer editing ?
Hi everyone,
pardon my naïve question, but is there a way to tweak a particle layer settings on specific keyframes in ASP9, instead of just setting its parameters once and for all ?
I checked the user's manual and did not find anything regarding that matter.
Thanks for your help!

Re: Here's some handy scripts
Oops, got it, no need for scripts, should have had a closer look at ASP 9's new features video...
