Thanks Wes!

(Although I don't think I''ll ever remember all the keyboard shortcuts.)

Re: Creating a brush in Moho 12

PNG format, single standalone image or multiple images in a folder. Preferably square or squarish, might be a maximum of 512x512 pixels. Vertical direction is used for "align brush with curve". Place in your custom folder, brushes sub-folder (see Edit > Preferences > General, Custom Conten...

Re: Camera movement confusion

I suspect it's more a case of simple mathematics concerning field of view - in real 3D life you might compensate by rotating the camera somewhat rather than tracking. Your camera has to zoom more than it has to track, so half-way it has zoomed, say, 300% but only tracked a little to the left. Consid...

Re: Question about imported bone rigs

If the eye bone layer is the uppermost layer in your eye rig, bind the entire eye rig bone layer to your head bone.

Re: Repeating a thing

For continuous arrows, the first option. For a small number of arrows then stop, maybe the second option. First option: Arrow, facing up, on one layer. Vector path on another layer. Use Set Origin tool to set part of arrow that you want to follow the path (e.g. center of arrow head). With arrow laye...

Re: bones

Work your way through Tutorial 3.1, as per Greenlaw's intructions. In particular. look at the section on manual binding, and at the last part, "Go Back to Automatic Mode", instead of using step 4 as it is in the manual, instead: 4a. Use the Select Bone tool and select only the bones you wi...

Re: How do change the thickness of the lines

If you are using a compatible pen/tablet, you can use pen pressure to vary line thickness when drawing with the Freehand tool. http://i63.tinypic.com/11acsk3.png If you are drawing with a mouse (or a tablet without pressure compatibility) you can change the line thickness at each node after you have...

Re: Importing audio

Not my area of speciality, but some guessing from things I have read: I suspect part of the problem is that WAV is just a container that can contain many different types of audio data encoding (floating point, 8/16/24/32-bit, signed and unsigned) and Moho may not necessarily handle them all. One tip...

Re: moving points to a different layer

Sure! Select Points tool, select, Edit > Cut, change layer, Edit > Paste. I use it if I draw a character all on one layer then split them up into pieces on separate layers. Note: if the points are part of a shape, the shape doesn't stay connected if some of its points move to a different layer - you...

Re: How can I make duplicated layers independent?

(Screenshots and solution from Anime Studio 11.2 but, as far as I know, it should still be very similar in Moho 12 although the interface will look different.) That is expected behaviour, as far as I can see. When you copy the layer you also copy the binding settings for that layer. Renaming the la...

Re: Moho work with new Microsoft Surface Studio and Dial ?

That said, I would be curious to know if a second monitor can be attached to the Studio. (Not that I have that much space on my desktop at home.) Technical specifications show a mini DisplayPort socket so, in theory, yes, a side monitor for documentation/image reference/live media connection updati...

Re: Moho work with new Microsoft Surface Studio and Dial ?

Will it be possible to connect the Surface Studio as a drawing tablet via USB to a main computer having installed Moho/Anime Studio only on the maincomputer? I don't know about over USB, but if you can connect them both to the same network (wired or wireless), you might be able to try 'pen remoting...

Re: Proportions distortion when using motion tweens

Ah, you think you have rotated the object, but Moho (Anime Studio) only knows "at the start, the nodes are here, and at the ends, the nodes are here", and moves them linearly from one keyframe to the next - apparently shrinking the object. For example, let the red rectangle indicate the st...

Re: activating Moho 12

I suspect I've missed the point and this is probably not what you were talking about, but I noted that when activating upgrades (as opposed to minor updates or completely new licenses) you have to put in both the new (upgrade) serial number and the serial number for the previous version that you wer...

Re: FrametoFrame emulation

In conjunction with Dale's suggestion, a very low frame rate might be enough?

Not sure about the fading - you might be able to render to individual sequential frames then load into Premiere with a brief fade transition to give you intermediate frames, as you suggest.
