It isn't blurry... it is anti-aliased. If you want it to look like the Moho sample... don't use anti-aliasing. This could also cause the "larger" shapes. Anti-aliasing adds pixels to the edges of high contrast colors to ease the transition... making it look smoother. This would make a smal...

Hah!

Of course! What was I thinking? You can't grab a bone on a vector layer...

Sorry for the confusion... lost my head there. Went a little mad.

I would check for layer location keys on subsequent animated frames. Also try and compare the arm layer that works with the one that doesn't... ... if you can figure out what is different in moho with those two layers or the bones that control them it might give you a clue what to fix. -------------...

For me having vector and bone selection/editing in one tool would not good. Just me. Only me... this is just my opinion. A couple of reasons why... I have found that the more things I can "accidentally" move around... the more likely I will. Using the point selection tool is hard enough gr...

Are you talking about region binding with bones and having all the parts separated and putting them back together using bone offset? Yes... this can be tricky to make subtle changes to parts when you can't see how the whole body is put together while editing. What I do is to do point editing on fram...

The HV_UniversalPointTool is mine (heyvern). It is basically a modified version of the one that 7feet did a while ago called sf_UniversalPointTool... I have since discovered mine has a bunch of problems... mostly related to me being a horrible LUA programmer. ;) It has too many "make dirty"...

Hmm... Yes, one of the things that 7feet's modified selection tool does is add points. I wouldn't use it in place of the add point tool for a lot of drawing... but it is very nice to be able to quickly add a point here and there while moving things around. Currently I have both of these modified sel...

I update the above movie link. New zipper layout... better motion... hand switches... etc. http://www.lowrestv.com/moho_stuff/ISA_full-body-b.mov I am getting pretty good figuring out masks. The zipper section uses two "bodies"... one with the suit one with just "skin". Zipper ma...

Dagnabit! Actually... Whoooooweeeeee! I can stop fiddling with my "version" of this... phew... so relieved. These tools do nearly everything I was trying to accomplish plus TEN TIMES MORE. God bless you... or... may you continue to evolve... or... live long and prosper.... whatever... Than...

The gradient effect in Moho is limited. It is a "one trick pony" so to speak. You can change the angle of the gradient but not the starting or end points. The start and end is based on the "size" of the shape in relation to the angle. If you have a skinny rectangle... the angle o...

Since the "new guy" brought this back up... ;) I have stopped using Illustrator when working with Moho... I don't like Adobe Illustrator anymore. It drives me nuts. I much prefer the fluid and artistic feel of creating in Moho. Since I "modified" my own selection tool (try doing ...

Here is just a test of the ISA zipping up his outfit. I am not set on the location of the zipper. I need it to not be in the center due to the "plot"... the zipper must pass over that area. But it doesn't make sense not to have it end at the neck. Why have a zipper when you still have to p...

Oh yeah... he gets "tools" and weapons. Of course he doesn't know how to use them properly which is the comedy aspect. The idea came from watching Matt LeBlanc assembling a complex laser gun in "Lost in Space"... the audio commentary said he had some trouble with all the props he...

Update on this project.

I am working out the entire body for the character. Looking for something... tough... but also... with comic potential.

Still working on it...
