The new particle effect source feature was one of the selling points for me. I like what you did with it, Selgin.
On a side note, AbnerScab's posts have all been locked. Pure bliss.

Re: Eyes Created in Anime Studio Pro
Agreed, the eyes look very good but the white reflections shouldn't move because it's reflecting a fixed light source. The cornea on the human eye actually bulges outward, causing the highlight to move with the eye, so it's biologically correct to have the highlight follow the iris, but an animator...

Re: Pitching The cartoon network and other animation network
I just realized that, by making this comment, I have contributed to bringing Captain Scab's post to the top of the list, once again. Ah well... at least this conversation has added some productivity to Scab's post. I figure there's no point in avoiding it. We may as well just hijack the post...

Re: Pitching The cartoon network and other animation network
Ianmage, how's whiteland coming along? I just rewatched your montage for it, it looks excellent. Thank you. It's been a somewhat slow process. I've actually had to take a break from WhiteLand to wait for ASP 10 to arrive (I need its features in order to progress with my film). I'm actually installi...

Re: Pitching The cartoon network and other animation network
Good God!!! Can we just ban this guy already?!? Or, at least, ignore any of his future posts? I'm tired of seeing his posts, each one under a different user account, on the top of the thread list! This is an animation forum, not an "animation concept" forum. You don't take animation seriou...

Re: How long have you been using AS?
When I was in the 6th grade, I started using Anime Studio 5 debut. It wasn't until years later that I upgraded to Pro 8, 9, 9.5, and, now, 10. I'm now a senior in high school, so I've been using Anime Studio for 7 years; it has completely taken over my life, and I love it.

I'm really going to enjoy that new particle effects vector shape source feature; I always been restricted to the circle source shape.
I need this upgrade NOW.

Re: Anime Studio 10
The suspense is killing me. I haven't been this excited since that one girl equivocally glanced at me... ...forever alone... ...I've always thought that Anime Studio's motion blur was weak (without After Effects, AS users are stuck with motion blurs that look more like ghosting than actual sm...

Re: Reflective surface test
Excellent work on the 3D environment! Not to steal your thunder, or anything, but I've used this same exact technique many times in the film I'm working on; I'm obsessed with it. I've learned that it can be very helpful to create a mask for the reflective surface. That way, you don't have to e...

Re: Pitching to Nickelodeon and The cartoon network
Scabbie babies is gods f*cking gift to this thread. It is the pinnicle of anime studio progress. Why, god willing, I can say that I WAS THERE when scabbie babies was launched for public consumption. As a result, I suspect that I will achieve immortality and successfully write my place amongst the s...

Thanks for the feedback, everyone. 2013 was, by far, the most exciting year for me as an animator. I learned so much from this forum.

Re: Pitching to Nickelodeon and The cartoon network
He claimed to have had many "connections" to big name studios, including Disney, so why would he bother making a post on the ANIME STUDIO FORUM when he could get insights from said "connections"? And if he ever did get insights from said "connections," he'd get a lot mo...
