Re: How Often do you Flexibind vs. Bind Points?
I'm a little like greenlaw. I like flexibinding with selected bones because of the falloff, as it seems less stiff. The challenge seems to come from the very different results you can get from small differences in bone placements, sizes, and strengths, in conjunction with the placement of points. If ...

How Often do you Flexibind vs. Bind Points?
So I'm working on rigging my first complex character and I'm running into a lot of distortion issues that I could take a lot of time adjusting with bone actions (smooth joints won't work here), but I have seen that some of you still use point-binding for some things. I know some of you swear by one ...

Re: Have you seen/know anything about Ankama/Wakfu?
you can alt+right click any shape to jump to its layer form any tool :) What??!! Is that documented anywhere? I don't see it in the manual, the tutorials, and it certainly isn't in the info bar. And alt-right clicking is surely not something anybody just tries. How does anybody know this? Thanks fo...

Re: Have you seen/know anything about Ankama/Wakfu?
You mean with the layer selector tool? It's okay, but yet another tool without a default shortcut that really should just be an embedded option in other tools. But I also meant to ask more generally what people use to speed up their workflow. Maybe I'll ask that in a different thread though. Also, I...

Have you seen/know anything about Ankama/Wakfu?
Have you guys seen Wakfu? My son started watching it on Netflix recently. I was really impressed by the animation, and when I looked it up, found out it was done in Flash! Holy crap! I mean, yeah, My Little Pony and Foster's are good and all, but I was not expecting that kind of beautiful animation ...

Re: Help Shape the Future of Anime Studio
When you solo a layer in the layers panel, and then unsolo it, ASP just unhides ALL layers. Please make it so ASP remembers what layers were visible before the layer was soloed, and only make those layers visible again. Thanks!

Oooh... That subscription pricing is pretty tempting though.

Re: Adobe Character Animator vs Anime Studio Pro
I think it's too early to tell what kind of product CA really is and what it may become. At the moment it's really just a face tracker for face animation and a mouse tracker for everything else. All other functionality will come from third-party developers. For now, it seems more of a stand-alone to...

Re: DKWROOT scripts *NEW Animate Shape Order!
But... but... the posts/tutorials I read on installing scripts said to open up the package contents! Ugh. I'm still new here. I never know when to ask for a second opinion.Lukas wrote:It's actually the place you're supposed to install custom scripts
*sighs* Just grin and bear it, Jim.

Probably. That's one place I haven't spent very much time. I guess I should try that.Lukas wrote:Installing scripts is a lot easier using the Custom Content Folder.

Hey Jay (or anyone who can help for that matter but since you're on Mac), I'm lost after trying everything on my mac with V10.1.3 Hey Nicoh, Just to make sure, here are the paths I'm using: Applications>AnimeStudioPro.app>Contents>Resources>Support>scripts>tool>(.lua and respective .png files) Appl...

Re: Help Shape the Future of Anime Studio
Has anyone asked for the ability to use a slider to blend between FK and IK positions? If not, here's a vote for that. It would make it nice so you could have and arm locked on to a target and then let go and move freely. Of course, then the ability to switch/blend target bones via keyframes would b...

Re: DKWROOT scripts *NEW Animate Shape Order!
Nevermind, I figured it out. There are two ScriptResources folders, at least in the Mac app. One is: Contents>Resources>ScriptResources The other is Contents>Resources>Support>scripts>ScriptResources Which is funny, because the tool folder is right next to the latter, but I had to install the DK_TOO...

Re: DKWROOT scripts *NEW Animate Shape Order!
First, pick either the light or dark theme icons. Then just go inside one of the folders and copy the images. Then go back to the tools folder and paste the images inside the tools folder. Your scripts should also be directly in the tools folder. Right. The script is working. And I have the correct...

Re: DKWROOT scripts *NEW Animate Shape Order!
Holy crap! I didn't know these scripts existed. These are awesome. Thanks, dkwroot! Honestly, it's stuff like this that I have no problem paying for. That's why I chipped in to fund the Duik15 IK tools for AE. https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/duik-15--2 One question though, dkwroot. I installed th...
