What may be happening is the Z position of your layers are not all the same.... Select them and see the coordinates in the top bar. If this is the problem, you may want to uncheck "Auto center new layers" in the Layers/Objects preferences. Otherwise, layers z position will be based on your...

You can. But i really don't think that'll tell me/us anything beyond what you described. Posting your OS, video card info, and version of AS might help someone else diagnose the problem... Those were my only suggestions i'm afraid

Never seen that before. Maybe try turning off "enable gpu" in preferences or updating video card drivers. I guess you see the same thing when you create a new document.

I can't reach the last 7 lines or so because it extends beyond the audio wave form. If I change the frame rate from 24 to 30, I can see it. I can then scale the text sections down and move them to earlier in the timeline. But changing the frame rate back to 24 undoes all that :? I tried Mike Kelley'...

Later versions may have better drawing tools than 7? I started with 9 or 9.5. I thought i would NEVER prefer AS's tools over AI's for anything. But now i very much prefer AS for most vector illustration. I still like AI for some logo and gui design work due to pathfinder, constraints and align/distr...

If you mean you want to mirror the direction he is turning, you might try selecting your bone group and click the "flip layer horizontally" button on the top tool bar. That should add a flip key on your timeline
