Re: latest superhero cartoon

Sounds cool! This VFS short film might give some ideas for treatment of paper-like character design.

Re: latest superhero cartoon

Congrats to you and the team on another great episode! Very impressed that you have made two relatively long episodes so quickly. I love the character designs and the banter between the characters. One thing that could help the audience get into the story more is to use more scene specific facial ex...

Re: Options for stock objects

But for Smith Micro, a digital marketplace isn't just a separate revenue stream. It incentivizes content creators to push the limits of what the software can do and for people seeking content, it extends the functionality of the software. As for the other marketplaces, there is less incentive to put...

Re: Options for stock objects

From what I understand, Anime Studio's approach to pre-made rigs and stock objects is that they are examples that teach users how to create their own assets. But Anime Studio's standout feature, advanced rigging, is extremely well suited to separating asset creation from the animation process, like ...

Re: Interpolation Curves not showing in Motion Graph

Luke Maracatili, just wanted to add that to read the speed in the motion graph you need to look at the relationship of change in position (x and/or y) over time (frames). For a linear relationship, the slope of the line tells you your speed in a given directional component (velocity) or in the case ...

I just had the same question! Thank you everyone! :D Luke Marcatili, in my interface, I have either two purple lines or a if I double click on the points icon I get a red line and green line: green line/thick purple = point's y value red line/thin purple = point's x value If you want to track ease i...

Re: check out my real watercolor background

This watercolor is beautiful! You're very talented. I like the idea of the light on top of the tower, but the vector and flat fill doesn't look consistent with the background style. Maybe adding some soft edge and glow effects could help integrate it better with the background. Can't wait to see mor...

Re: Dance test

Nice ones! Dancing is so difficult and with 2D rigs it's tough to avoid the cutout look. Adding those slight head turns really helps sell it as not cutout. It look great! There is an issue with the arms are going behind the suspenders/overalls; maybe a problem with layer order?
