Great work!
How did you get the effect of making the ghost break apart into snow. Was it a mask or something?

the shirt collar is fine it is his neck that could be a little longer. No worries about the mouth then, perhaps it is just so small it is getting blurry pixels. I'm not very familiar with the shonen style so I looked it up. I think the character is close to that so Kudos. :) Had a feeling is was a s...

It is a good start for someone who doesn't know how to draw. :) I like the design of the character With cartoons it is all about style so it is hard to tell if you made the mistake or if it is intended. Anatomy comments http://fineart.sk/show.php?w=914 If you go to the link above you will see some s...

I think what you have will work. My main comment is that when I think of a bar I see a dark room with several small lights here and there. I think you should consider making some areas 50% darker (corners, up in the girders under the bar table). As for the light fall off you have it about right. But...

Great work Slegin. I can understand the 30 second rule, I've seen my fair share of bad reels and I can imagine if you are hiring you have to dig through thousands of reels so even 30 second can be hard to give. Wish my animation was as good as Slegin's. Maybe I'd get a little bit of a foot in the do...

Sorry, there are several ways to get blurry effects, I should have been specific. There are a few ways to add shadows with out using the gradient fill (effect). You can also mix the two so that you add shadow and highlights at once. Option One: To simply use only shading. Select the layer with the t...

Looks much better. Just so I don't misunderstand do you mean serious as in realistic colors or serious as in spooky scary colors? The reason I ask is that these choices require very different color schemes. As for the cut out it all depends on what you are trying to say. Is this scene actually on a ...

Good point about the rocks. If aleXean is going to do canopy lighting it should touch the rocks and the grass at the same time to help with the feel. I did a quick sample of what I mean. I'm using the overlay setting on the highlight layer http://i890.photobucket.com/albums/ac105/fracturedray/forest...

I'd recommend not using the gradient (shading) until you get a hang of doing the basic form. Stick with flat colors and try practice making interesting shapes. The tree trunks are all perfectly straight up and don't work well with the interesting bark details. The bark details repeat to much on each...

Very Cool Funk!! I agree with DarthFurby about the downward crouch and anticipation. I'd also recommend slowing the frame rate down for the water. I had this issue on the Rice Field Hop so I set the water animations to 2 to get a better speed perhaps since you already used two it could go to 3? Very...
