I've used CorelDraw for years. It's a pretty nice vector drawing program - along the same lines as Adobe Illustrator. I use it for all of the t-shirt and poster work I do (I also like ArtRage for painting-style stuff). I'd like to see AS adopt some of the user interface elements of CorelDraw. CorelD...

I would like to have the ability to save out and merge in model changes (changes such as adding actions, changing colors, changing the models, etc.). The work flow I follow is pretty standard – develop the story, create the storyboard, block out all of the characters and backgrounds in the shots, an...

I suggest adding more control to the cycle animation. After creating a repeating animation, I would like to see a feature to select a range later in the timeline where I could speed up or slow down the animation, or where I could merge the animation into a new keyframe. Think create a running animat...

Here's a simple improvement I noticed -- remember the directory last rendered to separately from the directory last opened from. I keep assets in a separate directory from final renders, so every time I render, I need to navigate to a different directory. It only takes around 10 - 30 seconds, but it...

What I would like to see are improvements in work flow. For example, I'd like to see the controls used to manipulate objects combined so that they are similar to CorelDraw or Photoshop. In those programs, Move, Size, and Rotate object are all in the same control so I am not constantly going back and...

A quick commercial
Here's a commercial I did as part of a promotional video. Some of the source quality was a little rough, so I did a quick animation of a walking 'gater and dropped it in to liven things up.

Using a puppet for motion tracking
Here is a (rather crude) test I made using Anime Studio's video tracking. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lCDwegroiPI I snatched one of my kid's puppets and taped balloons to the top an bottom of its mouth. I then used a camcorder to record myself moving the puppet's mouth. I put the premiere element...

Allow shortcut in library OR pick library location
I tried creating a shortcut (a windows link) to my assets directory in the Library folder, so that I do not tie my project assets to the AS program, but Anime Studio did not detect it. I would like to be able to use shortcuts OR be able to pick the library location (i.e. when I click the Library but...
